I didn't use this for a bit after buying and now regretting because it's past return date. I was excited because this one, unlike my other, sets down in itself when not in use. That is the only good thing about it. The holes are too small in the screen which does not allow the water to drain when watering your sprouts. THIS IS NOT GREAT STAINLESS. I used it ONCE and the entire screen has rust spots all over it. I got this one instead of the other one I already had because it was a few dollars cheaper. Other one I have been using for a year and half....NO RUST what so ever. This is NOT WORTH IT. I cannot use it and I would like my money back!

Try another brand, the screens rusted out.

After growing a couple of rounds of sprouts, there are large rusted holes in the mesh.

Most of these reviews are for the plastic options. Unfortunately, I did not see the review about the metal ones rusting until the order was already on its way. I did one batch of sprouts in the trays and they sprouted great as described, but tray 2 was rusted and looked just like the picture another reviewer posted. The trays are designed to be slightly different sizes, so that tray 2 is necessary to support trays 3, 4, and 5. So, the whole thing was rendered useless after just one batch of sprouts. And, even if I could just remove the tray, they are all likely made of the same material. Amazon did accept the return.

I attempted to use f to grow microgreens but the containers started to rust.
