Vaessen Creative 2137-033 Easy Stamp Platform Tool for Accurate Craft Stamping, White/Transparent, 23.5 x 20.5 x 1.8 cm

This is the best stamping platform that I have ever used. I have tried other well-known makes and I have been very disappointed with them all, apart from this one. It is very well made, with a hinged lid. There are markings on both the base and the lid for accuracy and precision stamping. This is made of strong and durable plastic and is top quality. The base is fully magnetic and there are 2 rubber encased magnets included. I purchased a set of 2 spare magnets to use with thicker/larger card or paper. It is open edged which allows accurate stamping on all of your projects, whatever the size. On all the other platforms that I have I used, you were restricted to using smaller sizes of cardstock, due to the edges being enclosed on more than one side. There are 2 very strong magnets, encased in rubber, which hold your cardstock in place. You can buy replacements should you require more than two, or if you should lose any. The magnets are so strong that the cardstock stays in place when you lift the lid. The magnets are encased in pink rubber with tabs for ease of placement and removal. The secret to the stamp not "sticking" to the cardstock, is to keep it pressed down for 3 seconds. It is spring loaded and accommodates a variety of different sized stamps. The base seems to have a cushion effect, similar to using a stamping mat. Literally, position your stamp where you want it on top of your project, press down the lid to attach the stamp to the lid. Ink the stamp, then press down again. You can re-ink the stamp if necessary, without spoiling your project. No hard pressing needed. For those with dexterity issues, like me, it's a dream come true. I highly recommend this platform, I have had several well known brands, but this beats the others hands down. I have been paper crafting for years and I am delighted to have discovered this. Buy this, you won't regret it. It is literally a stampers delight.

This is a great stamping tool for your cards etc. The price is middle of the road and it is very precise. The magnets hold your card/paper in place very securely so you do not need a side recess to butt your paper up against. It is easy to press down you do not need lots of strength to keep it there. Depending on the quality of your cling stamps you only need to do it the once but if you need to do it more times the image is very crisp and clear. I like that you can put bigger bits of cardstock/paper in rather than be restricted like some stamping tools because of the side recess. It is also very stable on the table, it stays perfectly still. All in all I think it is great and if you were like me not sure on what stamping tool to get, I would give this a big thumbs up.

I docked a star off because I felt the construction was a little bit on the flimsy side. This is a good tool for paper crafts and much more reasonably priced than the big names. It works well and is accurate, my only complaint and it is minor is that I feel it is not as sturdy as it could be. I definitely don't regret the buying choice. Worth the money in my opinion.

Perfect size and amazing to use . I love the fact the base is magnetic and 2 magnets included that keep the card in place while stamping . Well worth buying , would recommend to any one who makes cards etc

This is a great little stamping platform. I purchased this one to replace a Tonic/Tim Holtz one that I could not get a good stamped image in places with. The Vaessen Creative Easy Stamp is lovely to use and gives a clean, crisp stamped image. It has a little rubber dome at each corner of the lid which when you put a little pressure on the lid allows the dome to contract so it doesn't matter if you use clear stamps, grey rubber or red rubber stamps you always get a good image. The two magnets are encased in plastic which stops them snapping together and are easy to spot if you put them down anywhere other than on the platform (we all have good intentions about keeping our craft space tidy but as any good crafter knows, it's impossible!!!). The usable platform base measures 16cms x 23cms but you are not restricted to using just that size card as you can overhang your card, the little squishy corner domes will not damage it. Typically, I use 7inch or 8inch square cards and have no problem using the platform. The platform is easily wiped clean and none of my inks have stained it. All in all, an excellent platform and I'm happy to recommend it.

I am new to stamping, and have mostly clear stamps from magazine covers but also a few grey multi-step flower stamps from Crafters Companion, some red rubber captions, and a bunch of cheap unbranded sentiment stamps. I like that the spring corners work in unison, and that no experience is needed to select the right shims or pads for each stamp type. Although I would say I'm reasonably competent at most crafts, using a permanent archive ink and sticky Versafine and embossing inks has been trickier than I expected, because of the need to work faster. This stamping platform has been a great find at a very reasonable price. It gives me the chance to correct badly inked images, and holds the card better than by hand. I like the little tabbed magnets. I use them the 'wrong' way round, with the disks butted up against adjacent edges of cardstock, with the little tabs pointing inwards over the top. At first I was disappointed that the platform border wasn't raised higher for faster card positioning, but now I'm getting into the swing of things it's become less of a problem. For a large batch of cards, I think I'll blue-tac a 6 inch metal ruler along the scale on the short side of the platform. Even a short stack of post-it notes would be enough to overcome this learning-curve problem. I am looking forward to trying some mirror image stamping and some wet ink techniques, and have a few ideas of my own to experiment with also. I think that the only modification I would make to this versatile tool would be to add colour to the ruled guides on the opaque base, but I imagine that with regular cleaning with an alcohol cleaning agent, it would quickly wipe them away. I will probably ink over the rulers and wipe away the remaining surface ink when it is dry, hopefully leaving the scale details visible. Incidentally, I have used a lot of Stazon (permanent ink) stamp cleaner on both layers of the stamping platform without any harm, or clouding of the top plate. Overall, I think this was an excellent purchase, that has been giving me satisfying results from the first use. I would definitely recommend this platform to a beginner.

Easy to use, and magnets help keep paper/card in place. Measurements can be hard to see as they are the same colour as the stamp pad, but not an issue for me as I don't really use them. Great for restamps when ink may be a little light on the first try, and allows you to repeat as many times as you need to.

Sono segnati 2 righelli nei 2 bordi della base sia in pollici che in centimetri, ed anche sul coperchio trasparente, che a sua volta ha la superficie quadrettata, per prendere bene le misure per poter stampare meglio. Permet une application homogène de l'encre sur votre papier et surtout une intensité des couleurs si vous appliquez l'encre à plusieurs reprises. Non négligeable, le cadrillage permet de centrer ou tout du moins de positionner son tampon exactement là où on le souhaite. Enfin, j'adore l'idée de tamponner plusieurs motifs en une seule fois ! Je suis de la team cartes en série, alors le fait de gagner du temps, c'est un atout de plus pour cette plateforme Stampe Easy de la marque Vaessen Creative.
