Interseting architect
I bought this book because I'm an architecture major and like many, we want to know EVERYTHING to EVERY architect haha. This book is really easy to read and follow, and fast, as I read it fairly quickly and am by no means an avid reader. The book is pretty much Le Corbusier's writings and views of architecture, a manifesto per say. I recommend to my fellow architecture enthusiasts.

He was one of the best for a reason
Le Corbusier is one of Architecture's famous intellectuals. He is to Architecture what Albert Einstein was to Physics. Highly recommend if your in Arch. School or even just some light reading after work. It shows how differently he thought about things at the time and why his points were actually thoughtful of the time period.

Fantastic
A passionate treatise appreciable by anyone. A fascinating expression of a frustrated but hopeful view on the status quo. Also has lots of great pictures.

An eye opener.
Now, having read this book, I see. Examples of the evolution of his thoughts on architecture are everywhere. He also seemed to have some influence on modern building standards and made some predictions on on housing which have come to pass, some with good results and some not so good. I believe I read about an idea that was the precursor to the timeshare condo. (Blech) ! What an incredible influence. Not a particularly great read but one I am glad I experienced and will not forget.

It’s Le Corbusier, you know what to expect from this book in terms of content, but the quality of the paper is terrible, it’s the same kind of bond paper I have in my printer at home.

You probably wont understand Le Corbusiers work without knowing the Time, it's Problems and this Book. No more to say. Except: We know it in big parts better today. The Car-City is dead and Steel is also more expensive today. But one extraordinary concept in it, is a house made in it's mainstructure out of steelreinforced-concrete, framed with a cheap wooden construction, filled with strewbales and plasterted by machine - It would work wonderfully, still today!

Maybe the most important book on modern architecture, an easy read and very interesting for the understanding of Le Corbusier's big mind.
