It’s a pain to clean, lots of hand washing stuff and the inside of the unit is the biggest pain to clean. But it’s a lot less expensive and tastes so much better than any movie theater experience! It as never burnt any kernels, I just use common sense and when it slows down popping I stand there and wait so I can dump the hopper so it doesn’t burn. It heats up and cooks fast, so pop time is short. And the unit is very durable, the kettle is very heavy duty. And the size is big but not too big! You are supposed to use 4oz packets but I use 6oz and just grab a few scoops out to make space as it finishes up. To ease the pain of cleaning, I’ll make a 2nd 6oz packet and will put in gallon size storage bags to eat the next day or whenever. It still is fresh and good this way!
