Brilliant.

FIFA 05 is better than this! The lousy slide tackles get you no where because most of them end up in fouls which ends up in a free kick for the opposition! The skills dont work and as soon as you get the ball and start running the opposition comes in and all he needs to do is just stick his foot out and then run away and i have played footy games before like FIFA 05 and PES 08!( they are both better than FIFA 09!) Whenever the opposition gets passed you, you stay as that same person and cannot change to a different player.

Bought this for my 6 year old son as his first entry into football games and he loves it. Something that him and his dad play together, and both enjoy. Good value for money.

After playing PES for years but this was after being weaned off the VERY early FIFA games it was a joy to discover this game on the XBOX 360. As well as the conventional games and tournaments there is the Pro games and Manager Mode. In Pro you are just one player in the 11 - and it actually changes the aspect of the game amazingly. You have some influence over your team mates but no actual control. Over the games as you improve you can make changes to your player and at the end of the season you may have some offers to move! Good fun to play and an addition that hopefully they will add to in future releases. Manager Mode is even better fun. You control most aspects of managing the team including contracts and transfers. You can sim matches or play them (a tip is to play all the matches as you get 100G for doing so). Great fun, BUT there are bugs. One is when you try to look at FIXTURES and the game crashes. Poor programming and quality control and this knocks a star off. Cheap enough but you can pick this up preowned for a fiver. Well worth it.
