What I can honestly tell you. You can not go wrong. These are perfect for anyone who has had any type of surgery especially ( tummytuck, MMO, lipo, bbl hernia repair) great for new moms getting their snapback. Really anyone can use it. It great for your posture as well. What I like most about it is, even with a faja or shape wear I was still able to wear my clothes and not look boxy as if I was made and patch together. It gives great compression and you can tell the difference without it being so uncomfortable it's digging in your ribcage, breast( for those who may have had breast surgery) or your hello kitty 😺 (tummytuck, c- section incision area) it protects after you have been cleared to do so. You will see those abs starting coming. Why would anyone want to wear those extremely hard boards that's not the key. I had one and it was miserable to wear. I lasted 30min top and had to just foam, until i from another alternative. These are very firm but comfortable with a little flex and do exactly what they are made to do.
