Reston Lloyd Calypso Basics Microwave Cookware, Steamer and Storage Set, Turquoise, Multiple Sizes, 6-Piece

My parents might end up stealing mine; they love them so much. I've had them for two years now. They're perfect for everything. They close really well, super durable, pretty easy to open, but won't fall apart if you drop it either. I like the vent at the top the most. I've put meals and snacks alike in these and am especially proud of putting chips in the small one and eating them in line at Disney World. Chips didn't break nearly as much as they would have if in a sandwich bag. I love that I can microwave these. When I lived alone, I put a whole box of mac in the large one and could reheat it if I didn't eat it all. I even put spaghetti with red sauce in it once, and it did not stain it noticeably. I will probably do it again. I will definitely buy more. At least for my parents.

I love it . A good set

We have shoulder problems and I had to find an alternative to my heavy glass cookware. I have found that most plastics when put in the microwave with anything containing fats or oils causes the container to blister or at least leaves the finish damaged. Also, trying to get tomato sauce stains out difficult. I have used these to microwave lasagna, mac n cheese, and other casseroles. I have not had any problems. The sizes are perfect for our needs of 2-4 person meals. The beautiful colors allow me to go from microwave to table. The lids let me store the leftovers without transferring to another container. I tried them out for 6 months before writing this review because as I said I didn't think they would hold up to my use.

These are a nice size and color and worked well. However, over a period of 3 years, they became pitted from being microwaved. I assumed they wouldn’t do that, as they say they’re for microwaving. I donated them and switched to glass.

This is just a perfect set that you can use in dish washer micro wave and freezer plus it looks great on my counter and washes up as new. I am ordering another set.

Good product will def buy again Durability value for the money

The medium size container doesn’t seal well and leaks.

I ordered two sets of these because 1) They are my accent color and 2) they store very nicely. The side benefit is my husband's favorite: close the vent after whipping some eggs in the little one, microwave 2.5 seconds, stir, then go another 30 seconds. The lid lifts but it's the perfect amount of steam and the eggs look like a mini-omelette, all puffy and fantastic. I would NOT consider these as "travel wear with food" between the lids being iffy and the vents possibly not being closed all the way. But if you're looking for a great microwave cooking set that stores well (in great colors), these are it. Because of our full-timing in a fifth wheel, space is a big deal so they also double as our super-easy-to-clean soup and salad bowls....even 'plates' with the biggest one. They ARE also an accent in my kitchen stacked on a counter.
