Such an amazing product! Very good if you want to play retro games! Don't expect too much with nintendo 64 or ps1, but for nes, snes, gb, gbc etc kind of systems this is perfect. Once you get your machine, make sure you backup everything (from both cards). Flash an updated version of arkos to a NEW sd card (i went with samsung. You can search youtube for instructions). Keep only the games you want (it comes with around 10000+ games). You can also play some of the PC games like vice city and gta 3 on this NATIVELY using port master! I got this for 5.8k which is a bit over priced but still happy with the kind of value it offers!

Keys stopped working when I enter inside a game, only ‘B’ key works sometime inside the game, when inside the game, only hotkeys shortcut mentioned inside the manual works, but not able to play the game because no key works for playing the game, only open the game and exit the game. The device worked well for one or two days and it started showing this behaviour. Also device seems a cloned version of R36s as the original version comes with the ArkOS but this one came with Emuelec that usually comes with clones.

Good console to use but sometimes glitchy and doesn't show the games. But eventually after few reboot it comes back on. Using the factory SD card and dinr buy Samsung HD but would recommend to buy

The battery life was so good in this price

Not happy with the purchase the device is overheating , after some time buttons don't work only b and a button works battery health is very poor with only one our backup have to play while plucked no accessories has been in the box except the console and a 4gb sd card with rubish games will recommend to but at your own risk " BE CAREFUL"

TWIMC, this is the second version of the R36s, the one with the much more color accurate and brighter "panel 4" display. Nothing else changes, of course. My unit is marked as manufactured on 2023/12, and yet, the ArkOS install is from 2024/03 somehow! Kinda wish it came with a WiFi radio, but at this price, that's frankly ridiculous to demand :D

Yeah, it turned out to be a duplicate. When we tried updating ARKOS, the system suddenly crashed, and nothing would display on the screen afterward. It also lacks Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so keep that in mind. Even if you use another microSD card, you’ll need to copy the exact contents of the original card for it to work. On the positive side, the display is good, the battery life is decent, and overall it feels fine in hand. But performance is a letdown, especially when playing PSP games, and that’s largely because it only runs on a single RAM channel. If you’re considering buying one, I’d suggest going for the R35 instead — it has fewer chances of being a fake compared to the R36.
