The paper is thick and smooth, which makes writing notes easier (and less bleed-through if you use both sides of the paper). Pages tear out easily. I use them to take notes on each client call, and use the side column for important info and follow-up notes. I love that the top has lines to remind me to write down the topic (or client name) and date, so I'm more likely to 'label' my notes. It's then easy to then file them in the appropriate folder (I use clear poly project folders labeled with the client's name or the project), and to review my notes by date. I use the white pages for clients, a different colored pad for notes related to marketing ideas and another for administrative or personal notes.
