Generations of us have used Horlick with milk. I have been adding this in my daughter’s granddaughters bottle for years, not much though. It mixes well with the milk remember to use whole milk on babies and toddlers.

Too expensive

As a child, now and then mother would buy as a treat as it is expensive. I may be able to find malt powder and make my own, but you have to keep malt powder very dry. Any moisture from the air will turn it into hard lumps. I have read it may help you sleep which was one reason I bought it, and oh, my dog loves it too. I still like it but just save one cup for bedtime, but have to get up several times in the night for having a drink late at night.

It's a health drink....who knew.
