Whoa! Premium Feel, and Superb Product.
I was hesitant on spending $200 on a keyboard at first. I read reviews, watched YouTube unboxings, and did research. I ultimately came to the conclusion: I didn't need this keyboard...then I bought it on a whim anyways. I do not regret it. I am not a keyboard expert by any means, honestly most of the research I did just confused me. So I cannot attest to anything in regards to "Actuation Point" or "Switches". I don't have any knowledge to base it on. What I can say is the keyboard FEELS amazing. I purchased the variant with Brown Switches, and it truly feels great. Pressing a key is nice and punchy, and it has a nice "creamy" sound. It's very satisfying to listen to, but isn't picked up by a camera very well. The keycaps feel very strong and have a bit of a grain to them. I suppose for friction or grip? I don't know. The LED behind the keys have multiple lighting ranges for battery saving, as does the OLED screen. The connection speed using the dongle is almost instant. I barely have time to get my hand away from the slider after turning it on before it pairs to my computer. I've seen no noticeable latency, connection, or power loss issues. The first day I got it, I carried it around the house just to listen to the creamy clicks from the keys. It is addicting! This keyboard replaced my previous Razer Blackwidow v3, as I wanted a smaller keyboard. I thought the Blackwidow has a premium feel, but the Asus Azoth truly exceeded all my expectations. There is ONE downside: Armory Crate. I know I know, but I came in to it unbiased! I have never used armory crate prior and had no attachments to any of my other softwares. I saw all the reviews attacking Armory Crate, and figured I would decide for myself if the criticism was valid. I mean it's really bad. It isn't user friendly, it's filled with advertisements, and it just doesn't work half the time. I spent 2 hours setting up the app and getting all my preferences together, and then when I closed the app it just reset. So after doing it again I kept the screen up. I've come to the conclusion that if you dare to minimize the armory crate screen, it just wanders off into the void of your computer. Every time I minimize the app the RGB in the keyboard cuts out, and I have to reopen it to get it back up. I do have a software update for the keyboard I've been too lazy to do, which could fix this problem so who knows. Even without this issue just the usability and ease of access of armory crate or lack thereof, makes me hate it. I am looking into alternatives to armory crate now, hopefully there are some. The keyboards feel, battery, and connection abilities surpass my disposition for armory crate. So I still give it 5 stars. If you like armory crate? You'll love this keyboard. If you hate armory crate? You'll love this keyboard and continue to hate armory crate.

*Updated* Pretty Good...almost perfect
*Updated Review* I decided to try out the white (silver) Azoth and the Extreme. My original comments remain for the white version. The only difference is it looks better than the black Azoth. The Azoth Extreme is...fine...I mean, nothing is wrong with it but I struggle to see where the extra $300 went. We've all seen the YT reviews investigating the "upgrades" and their worth, so I won't bore you. The only time the premium case can be appreciated is when you're physically holding the keyboard in your hands...so like, almost never. It doesn't look as good as the "white" Azoth. The screen is better, sure, it's also smaller in the Extreme. And I will never use the touchscreen because: fingerprints. Out of the box it sounds great. The stabilizers are top-notch. But, for $500 I should never need to get near this board with a screwdriver. "But it has 8k polling rate!" Okay, yes that's true but will you even notice the difference? Most likely not. Oh, and guess what, the plain base Azoth is getting updated firmware to also be able to boost to 8k polling (with purchase of polling rate booster). So, $300 for a metal case that you won't really see or feel, performance that will soon trickle down to cheaper versions, a screen that's mostly unnecessary (I only use it to monitor temps), and a hard/soft gimmick that doesn't really make much of a difference. Either Asus is really smart or I'm really dumb. Probably a bit of both. *Original Review* This keyboard is pretty dang good, and this is coming from an Asus hater. The last couple of weeks in my search for the perfect wireless gaming/work keyboard I've tried multiple Logitech G915s, A Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro, a Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL, and tomorrow I'm having a Keycrhon K13 Max delivered. The 3 G915s Amazon shipped me kept coming in used even though I was buying new. Apparently that's an issue with them. I own a Razer laptop and Razer mouse so I decided to try the Deathstalker V2 Pro. The build quality is great and RGB is superior to any keyboard I've ever used. But it has had a few cases of connection issues. So, this morning I got a Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL and I'm enjoying the smaller footprint. I haven't had any connection issues and still has the same pros of the full size version. A few hours ago I received the Azoth and was instantly surprised by how well it was built, for a non-custom custom. It's nice to type on and I love that I can configure the screen to show CPU/GPU temps. HOWEVER, I doubt I will be keeping it, unless the Razer TKL starts having connection issues and/or the Keycrhon isn't up to par. Reason 1, the RGB isn't per key, which is the only thing that feels cheap about the keyboard. I tried finding this out before purchasing but couldn't find a definitive answer one way or the other. If it had per key RGB I'd hold on to it. The other reason I'm not keeping it is because I think after trying so many low-profile keyboards they are my preference. No knock against Asus, as I knew it wasn't low-profile when I bought it - just wanted to try it and see how it felt. When they make a low-profile per key RGB version I'll be back! Tldr: this is an impressive 5 star keyboard even with it's cheap per-zone RGB.

Superb feel and build quality
I just bought this keyboard and wow do I love the quality. As a casual gamer/web browser I'm coming from a corsair k68. The price is a bet steep but if you have the funds I say it's definitely worth the purchase. Using this board completely stock has made me curious and understand why there's a keyboard enthusiasts community. Huge plus that is pretty customizable out of the box with it's own workstation included. One downside about it though is that I've read online that the software, Armoury Crate, is horrendous, bloatware, and to avoid at all costs. That means customizing the various options like lighting and oled display is impossible. Only the rgb can be customized by using other apps like signalrgb though not the oled screen. Had I known this before I may have withheld from buying though after unboxing, using, and appreciating the build quality I'm glad I didn't know. For now I just have it on the rainbow rgb setting and not care for the oled screen. With that knowledge and in person use I would purchase again. As a gamer who wanted to go wireless this keyboard seemed like the right fit. The wireless works fast, responsive and with zero issues

Great looks, heavy duty build, a little pricey
Likes: Really heavy duty build. 75% doesn't mean light weight, it's heavy (in a good way). Mini display and controls are really easy/quick. Keys are no joke, really high quality with a great feel. Super easy charging, even while in use. Dislikes: I wish the battery lasted as long as the other reviewers say. I'm a Sr Web Dev and when I'm not working I'm gaming. I get 1 month from a full charge. That's about 8 to 12 hours of use per day, almost every day. I also let everything light up full blast. Probably not doing myself any favors for battery life. Haha. Would I buy it again? Yes. Coming from a Logitech G613, this keyboard absolutely smokes the Logitech. Can't even compare. Sure, it's pricey! But wow is it nice. If I get 2 years out of it I'll be happy.

Great product but overpriced
Super solid keyboard. Easy to mod and customize and has 3 connectivity modes which are super easy to switch between. Great build quality and the screen is a nice touch (its obvious they could've added a color screen and chose not to so they could make another version with a color screen and charge more). I will say that the price is not worth it at all. There are a ton of keyboards out there with the same features for much less, and honestly having no software is probably better than having to install armoury crate on your pc.

The absolute best keyboard
With the intent of a balanced review, I tried three keyboards. The first keyboard I bought was a Cherry KW X ULP. It has a good look to it. It's a fine keyboard. It works like a fancy laptop keyboard with a little nuance. Not enough nuance. It feels like a fancy laptop keyboard. In fact, my gaming laptop has nicer mechanical keys. Used this for three solid weeks and can't say I recommend it. I compared this keyboard to the Logitech G915 Lightspeed. I used that for one day and returned it. The keys don't just wiggle a bit. It's like typing on the open seas. Absolutely awful, horrible thing. Don't let the L brand convince you. Then this keyboard. This keyboard is divine. I can't say I've ever felt anything like it. The brown switch option feels absolutely luxurious. No wiggle on the keys. Every key sounds the exact same. Such a nice springiness to every keystroke. Listen. This thing makes me want to do work. I needed a workhorse for daily duty. This keyboard is divine.

For people who want to get into custom keyboards
Having had this keyboard for a while now here are my general thoughts. This keyboard is a great starter kit for keyboard enthusiasts and for those who want to get into the realm of custom keyboards. The body is sturdy and the lubed brown switches are acceptable. The main highlight of this board is the lightning fast Bluetooth connection, the ability to hotswop switches, and the plethora of accessories that allow new keyboard enthusiasts to lube their own switches. Personally, I recommend immediately swapping out the stock brown switches with something else since the stock brown stiches are not amazing (they aren't bad either but they don't give you the THOCK). I'm currently using the gateron oil kings and they sound great. I've also tried holy pandas on this board and they also sound heavenly. At the end of the day it is up to personal preference but aside from being overpriced, if you are in the market for a wireless hotswappable keyboard, this is a great choice.

Beautiful in terms of esthetics and performance
Super nice keyboard. No latency or connection issues. Much heavier than other wireless keyboards which is nice.

Rock solid keeb
Love this thing so much. The first one I ordered had the red linear switches but I guess it must have fallen off the mail truck cause it never showed up. Anyway I ordered this one instead, with the tactile brown switches and I think I like them more. Every key stroke is solid and tactile. Great thock right out-a-da-box. Love the included switch puller and lube station. I bought some replacement keycaps but sent them back because the ones that come with the Azoth are awesome. I love the 3 connection modes. I can have it on wireless for my gaming rig, Bluetooth for my work PC or tablet and wired for charging. I didn't have any issues with armory crate as some reviewers have said. I did only go for the lite version and I don't have any other RGB so maybe that's why? It's it amazing? No! But it does what it needs to do. So far so good. It's a pricey piece of kit but I think it's well worth it!

No regrets
So far I love everything about this keyboard. Very small and compact, I wish there was more customization for the display (maybe there is and I just haven't found it yet?) but lighting effects are nice. Keyboard sounds great right out of the box (I haven't lubed it but still looks and feels good). Keyboard feels very durable, doesn't feel cheap in any way. Bluetooth, 2.4hz and wired modes. Works with Mac and PC. I came from Razer keyboards, not sure I'll go back!
