Red Wing Men's Iron Ranger 6" Boot

Ich bin stolz diesen Schuh zu besitzen. Wie aus einem Guss. Bauartbedingt etwas schwer, jedoch wertig. Ein richtiger Schuh, den ich vorbehaltlos empfehlen kann. Habe den Schuh jetzt wenige Tage getragen und er trägt sich immer besser. Das Leder ist anfangs recht hart, wird aber immer geschmeidiger. Will diesen Schuh gar nicht mehr ausziehen und ich denke er wird mich viele Jahre true begleiten.

These are my favorite boots. Wolverine 1000 miles are trash in comparison and I’m not going back to Wolverine after switching to these. They are sturdy, comfortable and stylish.

I purchased these boots when they were on sale and I couldn't be happier! I'm usually a 11.5-12 in normal shoes but read up on these. I ordered the 11D and they fit perfectly. They were a little snug at first but after an hour or two they already felt broken in enough where they were comfortable. I plan on purchasing some arch support but for the most part these do a good job. My feet have very high arches so this is needed for most shoes. I plan on purchasing more Red Wing boots in the future.

These are great boots overall — well made, comfortable after break-in, and the design and craftsmanship are what you’d expect at this price point. However, after wearing them for a few weeks and properly breaking them in, I noticed something wasn’t right. The left boot’s side leather is significantly softer and thinner than the right boot. After checking more closely, the difference in leather thickness is obvious, which affects support and structure on one side. This isn’t something that was noticeable when new and only became clear after normal wear. Unfortunately, due to this manufacturing inconsistency, I had to return the boots. I’ve taken photos to clearly show the difference and attached them to this review. It’s a shame because they are otherwise excellent boots, but consistency at this level really matters.

I'm not overly fond of the laces that come with it but that is minor. Make sure that you order something about a half size smaller than what you would normally wear, as this pair ended up being slightly on the loose side for me. Otherwise, it is as great of a boot as you would imagine.
