DP1010 Premium Grade Water Based Duct Sealant

This is my second bucket of this product. I used my first over a decade ago and now I'm making a modification to the system I built then. This product is easy to use and after 12 years it's still in great shape. It was still holding joints strong but I was able to cut through it and break the joints, so a good compromise. I wish it came in a smaller container. I found it in stores in a caulk-style tube but not in stock..... The only downside of this bucket of DP 1010 is the sheer volume of it. I will tell you I used the remnants of my last bucket 9 years after I bought it. The product was a bit tough but still usable. I've successfully applied this product with a putty knife and a chip brush. It's pretty thick for a brush but you can make it work with a little effort. The result is nicer than the putty knife.
