We have two sisters among our grandchildren, who are budding artists. Purchased several books about learning to draw basics for them to share with the one on drawing flowers, advance to Drawing animals, and now people and faces. The processes shown have guided them into doing much more. A great beginning for those interested in drawing art

Got this as a Christmas gift for my nephew who enjoys drawing. Since the Pandemic, it's been difficult for him to have a creative outlet. This fit the bill nicely! I can't wait to see what he sends me!

Honestly it really helped to how to shade, but the first few pages are really good but the lessons kind of get worse and worse, like it goes from 3d shapes to a 2d snowflake :/ but overall its okay 4/5

Very helpful and easy to follow.

Some nice step-by-step images to practice with, but the next image bleeds through the practice pages (see pic). So I feel like I have to purchase a pad of blank pages to avoid having distracting markings coming thru from the other side. Also, it’s just a book of images to copy, without any instructions on, say, how to draw in perspective.

I’m learning to pencil draw. This book to ought me a lot to do shading and shapes at various project. I really enjoyed learning from it and would recommend it to anyone.

Purchased this to rekindle my love of sketching and I'm not disappointed. Great price and value.

Good book for teaching you how to draw, stage by stage

Carefully packed and delivered within the given time frame. Perfect for young or older people who want to learn how to draw. Clear presentation of steps to follow drawing not only basic shapes. Highly recommend for beginners in drawing art.

Ich habe ihm einen zweiten Sternebonus gegeben, weil das Buch gut gebaut ist. Sie können dies leicht durch ein Malbuch für Kinder, ein Lineal und einen Winkelmesser sowie einen Stapel billiges Druckerpapier ersetzen. Ich werde es wenn möglich zurückgeben./ Good if your intentions for learning to draw are for making children's coloring books or if you write children's stories but not for anyone who has learned the basics anywhere else. There are very few regular drawing examples. Most are for ages 6-10 yrs of age it seems. There are no words after page one so no instructions. It only gives examples of seemingly basic school coloring book style drawings. I am not glad I bought it. I do not recommend this book for adults who wish to learn to draw. I seriously feel like I bought a very expensive child coloring book that every other page is blank for you to practice what the author drew by computer program. I gave it a second star bonus because the book is well built. You could easily replace this with a child's coloring book, a ruler and a protractor and a stack of cheap printer paper. I will return it if possible.
