NICE PRODUCT FOR PRICE
Very sturdy product. Instructions OK. Very fiddly to put together unless you have small fingers. Assembly took about 45 minutes. Assembly tools provided. Does NOT Fold. Easy enough to carry. Comes with detachable tool holder.

Senior knee saver
if you are a senior or just have back, knee or joint issues, and often find the need to kneel to do jobs that are low to the ground, this thing is fantastic. I recently had to work on my gas mower and had to stay kneeling for 15 minutes, the dense foam padding cushioned my knees and the hand rails made getting up a breeze. My wife loves the bench for gardening. Best thing for my aging knees I have ever purchased. Very sturdy and you just flip it upside down to switch functions. You will not be sorry.

Expect some assembly time.
Product was delivered quickly, well packaged, assembly instructions included, and all parts were bagged and labeled per the instructions. The assembled product was as described and seems sturdy for the purpose intended. Although the assembly and instructions are pretty easy to understand, the actual process can be difficult for some. There are many bolts and nuts that need to be manipulated. The two tools they supply are not very stout and start to strip when snugging nuts and bolts, so best to use your own tools. Fortunately, the parts kit included a few extra nuts because two of them were defective (no threads). A caution regarding the bars that attach the seat to the arm supports, some of the brackets have very small sharp burrs on the corners (the metal is painted so hard to see the burrs). For some reason four of the nuts are not crown style, leaving the bolt treads exposed (I double-nut just those 4 bolts to eliminate the exposed treads and to keep them from loosening over time.) Overall, I believe this product is a good choice, solid, and priced well; provided you don't mind a minor assembly choir. I purposely chose this non-folding garden bench to avoid extra moving parts and potential weak points. This item is not bulky so easy to store or place in a vehicle without the need to fold.

This will save your knees
No one likes weeding more than I do, and I'm not as young as I used to be, so I wanted something with a good cushion. It's strong and assembles easily. The cushion on both sides is thick and comfortable so it can be used as both a kneeler and as a seat. The price is more than most benches, but this one is sturdy and not likely to bend or warp, which is exactly what I wanted. If you buy a cheap product for something that will get a fair amount of use, you'll probably have to replace it sooner than you wanted. In this case, I doubt I'll ever have to replace it. The hanging bag is a plus and can hold your tools while you're not using them.

Provided screws are too short to even assemble, let alone be safe
I am 68 years old and had a hip replacement a few years back. Post surgery getting up and down to garden is not easy for me. I have to be very careful. I saw this and thought this is going to be great. And I think it will be....However. The screws provided to attach the seat assembly are too short. They protrude through the holes in the uprights less than 1/8" after being inserted through the upright and then through the brackets that are attached to the seat. The acorn nuts themselves that you use to secure these screws have about 1/16" recession in the nut before the threads start. So I could not even start but two of them in a couple of locations. Also think about the fact that if someone weighing say 200# sits on this thing, their entire body weight is being supported by (8) screws which only have approximately 1/16" of the nut threaded onto the screw. Also these are not locking nuts. I could only get six of the eight acorn nuts to even thread the nut. There just wasn't enough thread available to start them. So you could not even add a lock washer if you wanted. So at the end of nearly an hour of fiddling back in the box it went unable to even get it together. This same issue was mentioned by another reviewer stating the piece was unsafe as delivered. They opted to purchase proper length screws and lock nuts to make sure it did not dump them over or fail and possibly cause injury. The seat itself, the uprights etc. all seem sturdy enough and are finished in a nice shade of green. So I ordered a set of screws which I hope will help. But the limited information on the parts list does not even say what size the screws provided with this happen to be, making buying longer screws of the same diameter a bit of guesswork. I think I will end up going to the local hardware to compare the screws provided in terms of their diameter. I think they are either M3 or M4 but not sure? I ordered M3's and now after reviewing some metric sizing charts and doing some conversions think that I need M4's and probably at least 30mm in length. Gosh I only wanted to get some help for my gardening but this thing is turning into a major headache and I can only say to anyone considering this, beware. If I had this to do again I would opt for a more pricey one that has no negative reviews like this. It does leave me wondering how the other buyers that left such glowing reviews got theirs assembled? Did the mfr. give me the wrong size screws? Not sure but mine is not able to be assembled and I will have over 50$ into it by the time I get the necessary screws to even get it together let alone feel safe sitting on it. So given two reviews ( including this one ) regarding the screw issues I would pass on this if I were someone looking at this and reading the reviews. Spend more and get more! This is no bargain. Update: I finally got this thing bolted together with M5x30mm screws with lock washers and nuts.I will include the scew it information at the bottom. I used these at the connections to the uprights as well as the connection of the seat itself to the upright. At those points I will also point out another design flaw. The tube steel pieces welded to the seat at each corner are intended to slide into slightly larger tube steel pieces that have flanges welded at one end. The flanges attach to the uprights. This is where the provided screws were too short. The M5 screws I purchased were slightly larger in diameter so I ended up replacing the bolts that secure the seat to the provided brackets with these even though the provided screws worked here. I added the lock washers to again make sure they stay put. After assembly I placed the bench on the floor and knelt onto it. I was surprised to see the tube steel supporting the seat flex or almost bend at the joint where it is inserted into the flange. Which tells me they either need to increase the gage of the steel or allow for more than one inch penetration of the tube steel bracket to into the seat tube support. So again just not well engineered. The weight rating is for 330 lbs. I am a good sized man and weigh just under 230 lbs. The thing supported me and I know the screws will hold, but honestly I won't be surprised to see the tube steel bend over time. So I would say if you don't mind spending a few bucks extra for the screws to get it assembled then you are part way there. But if you weigh say over 200# I would look for a heavier duty model. This thing has now cost me over $50.00 and I am going to be using it with caution. I purchased the screw kit below from Amazon. After comparing these screw diameters to the ones provided with the bench I believe the screws that came with the bench are M4's and probably 25 mm. The M5's fit easily through all the holes and 30mm allows for more than enough length to use a lock washer with the nut to make sure it is well secured. The black also looks nice with the bench but these can be ordered in the silver if desired. 200PCS Black M5 Button Head Hex Socket Cap Screws, M5 x 30/35/40/45/50mm Metric Screws Bolts Nuts Washers Assortment Kit with Hex Wrench, 10.9 Grade Alloy Steel

A mostly good kneeler seat
I bought this kneeler-seat to replace one I've had for 7 years that finally had a weld give up. That one wasn't as sturdy as this new Flinter garden seat or as wide, the kneeling pad wasn't as thick as the Flinter kneeling pad and that seat had no feet. So this Flinter seat is an improvement. It has to be assembled, but isn't difficult. Instructions are clear and understand & enough screws, nuts & tools provided to do the job. The reason I rated this seat "Mostly good" is because the hard plastic feet pieces DID NOT snap over the bar. I didn't know what to do until I read a 1-star reviewer say "if you boil the plastic feet for a few minutes, it will soften them, so they snap into place." That worked like a charm!! So I got all 8 feet screwed into place. So, I'm passing that suggestion on. I really works! The manufacturer ought to include "boil feet if they do not fit," in their instructions. I also think Philips head screws would be a better choice, then I could use my own screwdriver which would be easier to grip, and the small wrench provided could benefit from rounded edges and slightly larger size to be easier to grip. It's only 3 inches, if that. And flat.
