TOSY Flying Ring - 12 LEDs, Super Bright, Lost Mode, Auto Light Up, Safe & Soft, Waterproof, Lightweight, Birthday, Camping Toy, Easter Gift for Kid/Boy/Girl

*****UPDATED REVIEW*****I was sent a replacement disc and so far so good! I think overall quality of the battery case and especially those screws could be improved but overall my son and I enjoy this and our aim is good enough we can play in the house! I think it’s worth the $20 as long as you can use it for a while!! 🤞🏼————————————————————This disc is so much fun and won’t hurt you like a normal frisbee would, but my son and I have played with it a handful of times since December when i purchased it with replacing the battery once and it worked fine a few weeks later and now it won’t work at all!

Great toy. Fun to play with in darkness. Lights up when thrown even by a kid. Battery seems to last well. String material. Easy to transport.

I’ve been using the TOSY Flying Ring with my kids for about a week, and it’s been a huge hit. It keeps them entertained for hours, gets them off their PlayStation and devices, and is just as fun at night as during the day thanks to the bright LEDs.What I like:• Super bright LEDs – The 36 RGB multicolor lights or 12 solid-color options make it easy to see, even in the dark.• Safe and durable – Soft edges, waterproof, and sturdy enough for pool, beach, or backyard play.• Lost mode & auto light-up – Makes it easy to find if it lands somewhere, and the automatic lights add extra fun.• Portable and fun for all ages – Great for kids, teens, and even adults joining in outdoor games. What could be better:• Battery lasts long, but if used heavily every day, it may need recharging more than once a week.Performance notes:• Floats in water, perfect for pool or beach use.• Easy to throw and catch; lightweight but stable in the air.• LEDs make night play magical and exciting.Best for:Perfect for kids, teens, family gatherings, camping, beach trips, or backyard fun. If you want something to get them moving and away from screens, this is ideal.Final Verdict:A super fun, safe, and visually stunning toy that keeps kids active and entertained. It’s a perfect gift or stocking stuffer, and the night-time LED effect makes it extra cool.

I received the TOSY Flying Ring - 12 LEDs, Super Bright, Very Soft & Phosphorescent Rim, Auto Light Up, Safe, Waterproof, Lightweight Frisbee, Cool Fun Christmas & Outdoor/Indoor Gift Toy for Boys/Girls/Kids as a gift and I had a blast playing with it. Here are some of the pros and cons of this product:Pros:- The ring has 12 LEDs that are very bright and colorful. They light up automatically when you throw it and create a beautiful effect in the air. The rim is also phosphorescent, which means it glows in the dark after being exposed to light.- The ring is very soft and flexible, which makes it easy to catch and throw. It does not hurt your hand or fingers when you catch it, unlike some hard plastic frisbees. It is also safe to play with indoors, as it does not damage furniture or walls.- The ring is waterproof and floatable, which makes it perfect for playing in the pool, beach, or lake. It is also easy to clean and dry after use. It comes with a battery that lasts up to 4000 throws and can be replaced easily.- The ring is lightweight and well-balanced, which makes it fly straight and far. It can soar up to 100 feet with a gentle toss. It is also easy to control and adjust the direction and speed of the ring by changing the angle and force of your throw.Cons:- The ring is only available in one color, which is green. Some people may prefer other colors or a variety of colors to choose from. It may also be hard to see the ring in bright daylight or in green environments, such as grass or trees.- The ring is a bit pricey compared to other frisbees on the market. It may not be affordable for some people who are on a tight budget or who want to buy multiple rings for their friends or family.- The ring may not be suitable for playing with dogs, as they may bite or chew on the ring and damage the LEDs or the battery. It may also be too big or heavy for some small or young dogs to catch or carry.Overall, I think this is a fun and innovative product that offers a unique and enjoyable experience. It is well-made, durable, and versatile. It is ideal for anyone who loves playing frisbee and wants to try something new and exciting. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cool and fun gift for themselves or their loved ones.

Amazing colors and light up quality! I purchased this for my son for his 11th birthday and unfortunately we got a defective ring. I messaged customer service and within days we had a replacement that works perfectly! It is one of his favorite gifts! The ring is light weight, so it won't go super far without curving, but with a little practice its easy to get the hang of and our whole family has enjoyed it. (We noticed its even more accurate if you throw it upside down!) The colors are phenomenal! It is so bright and the color flows seamlessly. TOSY customer service was also excellent! Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

I’m editing this review due to good customer service. If you are looking for a gift, go for the light up frisbee or boomerang instead. This toy looks and feels like a cheap purchase because it is thin plastic with a glued on rubber edge (to make it softer to catch). However, we have now opened it (since I couldn’t use it as the intended gift) and tried it and got some fun out of it for casual kid use.Pros: It can go a decent distance, about half the width of a standard soccer field with our fairly skilled players. Because it’s a ring, you can fidget with it twirling it on your finger or arm and watch it light up. Because it has a hole, we were tossing it up and trying to throw a lighted orange football through it. It makes cool live feed night photos, which had some minor entertainment value for the kids. Photos attached.Cons:It comes with a battery but if you ever need to replace it it’s one of those circle batteries. The soft edge is achieved with a thin rubber rim glued on, not an inherently soft rim like the old Aerobies. I would be afraid with heavy use it would start to peel off but on its first use it did stay on just fine and served its purpose. The disc doesn’t sit flat - the gap between disc and table in the photo shows the slight amount of bend.Performance cons:Biggest con -unlike their frisbees, the light goes off as soon as motion stops. This means in the dark if you don’t catch it it will be harder to find. It also tends to tilt and arc to the side when thrown - harder than a frisbee to get to fly straight unless you throw it harder and faster. At close distances it actually flew flatter and straighter when thrown upside down (regular forward throw with disc facing upside down), but seemed to need to be right side up for best distance. Every once in a while it wouldn’t light up. Play with at least some distant street lights or a flash light or you will lose this thing. Probably more of a liability when camping than when playing in the city.In sum, based on our test run it is worth the price (on sale) to just mess around for fun, but personally I am way more happy with their frisbee which cost twice as much. We will keep it in our bag of outing options though- at least it’s very lightweight and easy to take with you.

This ring is fantastic. It flies straight, the lights are incredibly bright at night, and the soft material makes it safe and easy for everyone to play with.

Fun, well-designed outdoor toy that’s lightweight, easy to throw, and surprisingly flies long distances with good accuracy. The soft material makes it comfortable to catch, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults.

I bought the TOSY Flying Ring for my 7-year-old daughter, and it’s been a huge hit with my older son too. From the moment we switched it on, she didn’t want to put it down. The LED lights are incredibly bright and look brilliant in the evening, making it much more exciting than a bog standard frisbee. Despite having the electronics inside, it’s very lightweight and soft enough that I don’t worry about it hurting little hands if a catch is missed. It flies surprisingly well once you get the hang of throwing it and has held up well after plenty of use in the garden and at the park. The battery life has also been better than I expected. If I had one small criticism, it’s that it works best in big open spaces, so it’s not really suited to a small garden. But that’s true of most flying discs really.Overall, it’s a well-made, high-quality toy that’s genuinely different from the usual outdoor games. If you’re looking for something to encourage children to get outside and be active, I’d highly recommend it, especially in this current nice weather.
