Review: Cheep and thin - In general, a higher thread count means that the sheets are thicker, due to the ticker threads. The fabric arrives and it is like it’s already 10 years old and thinned due to frequent use. Normally a higher thread count does mean more stitches, and it is more dense, but it is thin and smooth. It doesn’t feel like Egyptian cotton at all. Your better off patching your old sheets.
