I recently got my hands on the Blue Tees Golf Player+ GPS Speaker with Touch Screen Display, and it’s quickly become a favorite on the course! This sleek, black, IPX7 waterproof device combines a high-quality Bluetooth speaker with advanced GPS functionality, making it a fantastic all-in-one tool for golfers who want precision and a bit of fun during their rounds. Setting up the Player+ was a breeze—pairing it with my phone via the Blue Tees Game App took just a few minutes, and it automatically recognized the course I was playing, thanks to its preloaded database of over 40,000 courses worldwide. However, mastering all the features, like navigating the touch screen menus and utilizing advanced analytics, does have a bit of a learning curve. It took me a couple of rounds to get comfortable with swiping through screens for hazard distances, drive tracking, and scorekeeping, but once I got the hang of it, the interface felt intuitive and responsive. The glass touchscreen is bright and clear, even in direct sunlight, which is a big plus.The GPS accuracy is impressive—I compared it to my rangefinder and GPS watch, and the Player+ was spot-on, providing precise front, center, and back yardages, as well as hazard distances. The audible distance callouts are a game-changer; with a tap of the action button, I could hear distances without taking my eyes off the course, which helped me stay focused on my shot selection. The dynamic hazard feature also gave me a clear picture of bunkers and water, making course management easier. Beyond its GPS capabilities, the sound quality is outstanding. It’s durable, portable (about 3 pounds), and the IPX7 waterproofing gives me peace of mind in wet conditions—I even tested it after a brief dip in a puddle, and it worked perfectly. Great tool. Person bought for is a golfer and he LOVES IT!!! Has many features/functions that all work well without complications (easy to set up and use). Seems to be accurate. Display is easy to read. Good value for the money. Seems to be durable. (hopefully won't be dropped to test that)

I bought 2 of these speakers and 1 arrived with some small damage on the screen. I returned with amazon and got another one sent. The speakers are nice and the magnet is amazing and secures it very nicely to the cart. Yardage is pretty accurate. Good buy

This speaker has been an absolute game-changer on the course. The sound quality is excellent—loud and clear—and I’d honestly put it in the same class as my JBL Charge 5. Battery life is fantastic, easily lasting through multiple rounds. The Blue Tee’s app is also clutch, especially with the added convenience of displaying on my smartwatch. I previously owned the Bushnell View, but the Blue Tee’s is hands down better in almost every way. The only minor downside I’ve noticed after four full rounds is that the magnet isn’t quite as strong as the Bushnell’s, but all the other pros definitely outweigh that one detail. I would highly recommend this over some of the other golf speakers out there. Great value, great performance, and it makes every round more enjoyable!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: ****Update**** Do not buy this POS. It's bad enough you need an app which uses your phone to give GPS capabilities. But if you can't login to the app because of a spotty Internet connection you can't use the device for GPS. A total rip off and dumb design. If it wasn't outside the return window I'd be sending it back and getting something different. I first chose this for the combo speaker and GPS. But I was fooled by the marketing, nice job Blue Tees marketing team. **** Beware this is not a stand alone GPS product **** Functionality: Nearly useless as a GPS unit because it has no resident GPS antennas or hardware it relies on your phone. Even my old $89 Swami unit had the capability resident and for the money it costs for this unit it is ridiculous that it doesn't have that capability. The speaker is marginal at best my $24 Anker speaker works just as well. The GPS requires your phone location services to work and has to connect through their app which has annoying adds and is buggy. The speaker ran down on me and after that the app would not display the yardages on the speaker/screen. I had to remove, reinstall and setup everything all over to get it to work. Half the time the yardages won't update on the speaker screen unless you open your phone. In addition, the hole detection in the software is way too sensitive. Make sure you don't hit in another fairway on accident otherwise the unit will switch and give you the wrong yardages. Durability: Can't say, I've only used it a few rounds. So, far no scratches or issues, but I am really careful with the unit. Bluetooth connectivity: When using the unit as a just a speaker it seems to do well. The main purpose for the unit is GPS and it is marginal at best for that use due to the buggy app. Look: Aesthetically nice Sound quality: Decent quality sounds heavier on bass than most units. Accuracy: The accuracy of the unit depends on your phone since the unit does not have any GPS capabilities on it's on.

Subscription is 99 bucks for 3 years. So add that to the price still really nice sound and very accurate. Magnetic is strong. Must buy a screen protector. And other 50 bucks for 3. But if you’re spending that money. You want to protect it, in my opinion
