I’ve used Amazon for a decade and this is my first time leaving a review. That is how absolutely stoked I am about these bananas. I go to the gym directly after work. When I get to the gym and I take my work boots off, I can very quickly smell that boot/foot smell filling the entrance of the gym. I didn’t want to be known as the smelly boot guy at the gym so I bought a spray boot deodorizer off of Amazon. The spray would make the boot smell nice immediately after spraying it but the freshness would not stay. It was the same as spraying your boot with some febreeze. After a few weeks with the spray I went back to Amazon to try something else. That’s when I ordered the Boot Bananas. It only took a day or two of leaving them in my boots overnight for me to notice the difference. The fresh smell from the bananas lasts and it is extremely effective. Now when I take my boots off in the gym, there is no immediate smell other than the deodorizer scent of the bananas from the night before. If you are having any similar issues with smelly boots or shoes I highly recommend this product!

Has good smell. Removed the wet smell from my shoe. Seems very effective so far. Very easy to use, just leave inside shoe.

These inserts are amazing! My son’s shoes - and by extension his bag - smelled like absolute death. He had to leave his bag in the garage once he got home because the smell filled the house, and if he had to get a ride home with someone else he was so embarrassed that the stench filled their car. But these have changed everything. His bag was sitting right next to me today and I smelled nothing. And he showed me that they were starting to get brown spots, which means they are absorbing the moisture and the smell. I will be buying these for as long as he plays sports!!!

I appreciate that these are reusable and eco‑conscious — no more wasting disposable inserts every few weeks. They seem durable, and I like that the pair is supposed to last 6–12 months. They don’t make your shoes smell like a strong fragrance; instead, they simply freshen the air and neutralize odors, which is exactly what I want. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that they take a little time to fully neutralize stronger odors in very smelly shoes. For regular everyday use, though, they’re excellent and definitely worth it.

I've been alternating them between my boots and work shoes. After working all day/night, then wearing my boots the next morning (before showering), my feet smelled just like the bananas! No bad odor whatsoever 😃 10/10 They really work!

A fabulous gift - practical AND funny. It weighs almost a pound and got a LOT of laughs at Christmas. It literally turns brown a little at a time while absorbing odors - like real bananas ripen!!

I like this product! I recently got a new pair of climbing shoes and bought this product right away to prevent my shoes from stinking. The smell is strong, I can feel it whenever I pass my shoes rack but I don’t mind it. My husband isn’t fond of strong aromas but he enjoys the pine smell too and asked me to get a pair of bananas for his workout shoes too.

Not as good as I thought. It smells pretty weird and it tends to get the bad smell of the shoes and hold it as well, creating a nasty overall smell. It didn’t do much for my shoes…
