**Q: Will it work without ethernet conection? (record only on sd card?)**
A: Yes. No Ethernet required. Only power and Wi-Fi.

**Q: Is it waterproof**
A: Yes has a good seal the holes in the back for mounting screws could be sealed with bathroom silicone caulk when mounting.  After mounting the back plate there is a good gasket to then secure the camera to the mounting plate.
