Purchased in Mar. 2024 installed 50 ft April 2024. Now it is May 31 2024 and first section of rope has now frayed and beginning to come apart. Will not be purchasing this rope again. Must be better one out there. UPDATE: Vender was right on top of this one. Sent out a new rope immediately. Quality of the new rope is considerable better than the original and should not give me any problems. Will add another update when I get the new rope installed.

It was exactly as described. Good quality.

Every part of this has now lasted through one of the hardest summers and winters, not a issue to be found. But now into its next year the material of the rope is little more than powder. I have had to have the pole taken down and a new rope put up since the remains of the rope in all wadded up in the top pully.

After one year and eight months of use, the flagpole rope was disintegrating and nearly broken through. Seller claimed that this was a "long" time so wasn't going offer any replacement. The metal clips, on the other hand, were still in like-new condition, despite a year of snow, sun, and rain. The main trouble is that instead of being a proper braided polyester rope which you need for a flagpole, this is a cheap twisted nylon fiber rope with an even thinner woven sheath to give the illustion of a proper braided rope. Save your money and don't buy this junk. Look at the picture to see what you'll be dealing with after a year and a half of use.
