Fantastic speakers with a great style
When looking for new speakers years ago I remembered the CREATIVE hardware I had as a student and how brilliant it was. As soon as I saw these speakers I pulled the trigger and they've served me well for over 5 years. These plug and play speakers don't take up much space, look great and sound brilliant - all for twenty quid. I mainly got them for a cheap gaming PC but have since plugged them into my iMac (they're better than the built-in speakers). They're also much better than the speakers of any laptop I've ever had, and super portable. The volume goes surprisingly high, with no sound break-up even at high levels. Great bass for their size too. Really recommended!

Impressive sound for the price.
Are we expecting finely etched detail, superb macro and micro dynamics and true timbral reproduction? Well I hope you've got the funds, because that isn't going to come cheap! What we have here is a sub 20 quid (at the time of purchase) pair of active speakers for your PC, laptop or any other device with a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB port to supply power. And they sound genuinely impressive for the money. Soundstage is bigger than I expected and the treble is pretty refined, not excessively bright or the least bit splashy and well controlled with barely a trace of tinniness, which is something often associated with low cost audio. Tonal accuracy is overall pretty good and the bass is adequate and quite well controlled. They don't seem too fussy about positioning either. Naturally given the small size, the power draw limitations of USB and the driver choice they aren't going to compete with good HiFi, lacking the bite and punch of a dedicated tweeter and bass/mid drive, but they certainly hold their own for the money. Cable length is ok for most but I'd ideally like detachable cables as cheap 3.5mm jack connections are known to fail quite regularly. And that's probably the only thing I think Creative could change without raising the price substantially.

Great speakers for the price!
I heard great things about the Pebble speakers, especially at their price point which made me want to try them out. I have been using these for around 7 months now and can recommend them to anyone looking to get some speakers for their pc and don't want to spend a fortune. They have been great, good quality sound and can even control the sound using the wheel on the right speaker. Definitely feels like they are worth more than the ~£20 I paid. Bass is a bit lacking however you cannot complain ;) Edit (Feb 2026): About a year and a half later, the speakers started having an issue. There is a loud static/buzzing sound that it makes even when there is no audio being played out. I have tried reaching out to Creative through the Amazon portal but haven't received a response sadly. I will update my review if anything changes

Extremely good value
These Speakers are extremely good for the price point and I believe there are no other speakers which come close to these. These Speakers seriously sound like £50-£100 speakers because of the quality. They are extremely easy to set up because it's 1 aux cord and 1 usb cable which you just plug into your monitor and PC and your good to go. The volume dial is on the speakers so what I do is crank the volume on Windows to 100 and adjust the speaker volume that way to make it easy. my only gripe with these speakers are the green light when there turnt but I've tuned that good. The speakers are also at a slight tilt which make listening to YouTube or music much more enjoyable. If your looking for cheap speakers which look and sound amazing. You need these! The packaging is also super simple and easy. And tells you everything you need todo. Just make sure your monitor has an audio port!

These beauties pack a punch!
Couldn't be happier with these speakers. For years I've had to endure almost silence from my old Acer laptop, and for some reason it never even crossed my mind that you could use external speakers. So yesterday I searched for a good ten minutes and of course there are loads to choose from! But decided on these as they look cool and the reviews were very good. They arrived this morning in a lovely box and first impressions when opening are they look just as cool as in the photos. Connecting is so simple, plug the USB in for power and the audio jack plug in for sound and you're away. Great sound, great bass! Couldn't be happier.

The only extreme about these speakers is how average they are
Ok value for £15, devoid of bass but trebles are clear enough for video calls. Easy to set up. Better than the very poor speakers in my monitor. Loses a star for the obnoxious green light which will get covered somehow. Plus points for not needing an app, and for working with any 3.5m aux device - I just want simple speakers so it fit the bill perfectly for this.

No need for the expense of the V3 (and prove to your kids that music deserves decent speakers)
My kids have the annoying habit of listening to music on their phones. I say kids but they're in their twenties, and anything thta's a bit of an inconvenience just doesn't get any traction, so a pair of speakers: "yawn, I don't need that" However, I started small by getting some of those passive miniscule 2 inch square cheapies found in the local shop as they wanted to hear gaming sounds. One of them now in second year of uni, had a problem when moving her pc to a her new digs in that the speakers somehow didn't get recognised by the pc. So that's when I bought these (the original pebble set). All of a sudden "Wow I don't have to turn them up loud to get areally good sound, dad" I couldn't be happier, now she realises how listening on a decent set of speakers makes all the difference. It's still a long slog to get her to listen to music at home on my british hifi system, but the first step has been taken. The other "kid" had the same journey and has progressed onto the Logitech speaker set with small sub woofer, but he's 7 years older so is more understanding. Pro's: Small form factor (if the kids see something too big, they won't want it) There is a rotary volume control on one of the speakers, so the volume doesn't have to be altered in the computer. A very big sound for such a small speaker, especially at low volumes, it really does sound like it has great potential. The rotary volume does also act as an on/off switch. As it has a USB power lead it could concievably be used with an ipod, and maybe a power pack for power if out and about whereas the USB-only V3 wouldn't work for this. Only £20 as opposed to the £30 of V3. Cons: The bass is quite heavy early on, meaning that like a lot of speakers they will struggle to sound good at high volume levels. This is only a problem if you're thinking of getting a good deal of volume out of them. Some may think that having a 3.5mm jack in addition to the USB power source is a hindrance, but as I detailed above, it does open them up to be used with an mp3 player or ipod if you're old enough like me to want to do that. The leads aren't the longest, but having the pc/laptop reasonably near to the monitor will mean they are long enough as I have found. All in all, I'm really happy with them, now studying with light background music suddenly a possibility foe one kid, the other now demanding a bit more power, YAY!
