I ordered this remote, which will not properly program to my TV, a Samsung - 75" Class Q60T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. The remote came preprogrammed, and some buttons worked. Others gave an error message: "This button has already been programmed." I contacted the seller, who informed me that the programming could not be changed.

Does everything without any problems. The only issue I have is that it does not turn on the Apple TV Box but it does turn on the TV. Besides that it's all good. The Apple TV 4 box that I have just started to work with it and automatically setup the remote for the TV that the Apple TV is hooked up to. No fuss no muss!!!

This is a must have as a replacement to my Gen 4 Apple TV remote. All you do is install a fresh set of AAA batteries and it is operational. It automatically works my LG TV for power, volume, and mute. Not sure why apple did not include that on their remote. Had to use two remotes, now down to one. It does NOT have voice capabilty, just so you know. Worked so well, i bought a second one so we each have one for our side.

When we lost our remote for our TV, we bought this Apple TV remote to hopefully get into the TV settings. It did not—But that's not why it is a disappointment. The remote does not fully function. I had hoped it would mute—it doesn't although there is a mute button. Other buttons failed, as well. Also, it takes batteries and just the feel of it is cheap. Our Apple TV remote charges with a USB. So, this one was a waste of money.

Really is perfect that once I put batteries in I was able to just automatically turn on my smart TV and then automatically be able to use my Apple TV apps without any problems or any difficult set up. I paired with my Apple TV and some buttons worked but others didn’t. The channel up and down did not work. The power button turned the tv on but not the Apple TV unit. The volume button appeared to work as the bar showed up on my tv screen but the actual volume did not change. It also lost pairing when Apple TV was turned off. Maybe I got a defective one.
