This is a very good product well made and thought out. A great learning tool for beginners and players who want to know a little more theory on music and how it applies to the instrument. And literally you can find the chords in any key you need with the turn of a wheel. Very informative and would recommend this book and circle of fifths Wheel package wholeheartedly.

So glad I ordered this. Exactly as advertised. Extremely well thought out device. Simple to use, tons of information at your fingertips. The accompanying booklet is the best intro to guitar-based music theory I have ever seen. Explains how to use the device and also provides an in-depth (but easy to understand) intro to guitar theory (notes, scales, chord construction/building, chord progressions). The decoder is well made, of quality materials, packed with information, yet somehow very simply presented. Well worth the price. Wish I'd had this package decades ago, when I first started trying to learn to play guitar. I'd be a lot further along now. Super useful for songwriting. Get one now!

This is a great tool for beginning to advanced songwriters. This specific bundle is geared towards guitar players. It will help with forming new song ideas as well as helping out when you're having trouble (rut-stuck) coming up with a part in an arrangement or just having a bad time with writer's block. It has its own little unique system that is easy to learn and includes a book and a chord chart. The Circle of Fifths/Decoder has a stand built in that is invaluable. Most guitar players know the problem of trying to follow something from a book/magazine and the trouble of doing it without a space-stealing music stand or something similar. You can set this anywhere and use it right away in the correct position. It's a very well-made product and i recommend it with no reservations. It rocks!

Great tool and explains everything at a level you can understand as a beginner. A must have for any beginners learning Guitar.

I must start off by saying just a couple things: (1) I've been writing songs for 20 years. (2) I took 2 years of music theory in college. That being said, I've always prided myself in my ability to identify which chords fit into whichever key in playing in. Even still, on many occasions, I've found myself stumped on where to go for a bridge, pre-chorus, etc. This tool is great. It allows me to not have to repeatedly access my theory knowledge when I'm on a creative streak. It's also substantial in size. When I ordered the decoder and book, I was thinking the decoder was pocket sized. No. In fact, I love that it's significantly larger. It's very easy to read, durable, folds into its own stand in the back so it's very easily seen, and even makes it so easy to write a key change into a song with a simple turn of the wheel. Honestly, I thought this would be kind of helpful here and there, but I'm really excited at how much more useful it is than I had anticipated. So if you're a guitar player or songwriter from a beginner to very experienced (we all start somewhere) this tool will be so tremendously handy. **I was NOT paid to review this product. I have played guitar for almost 40 years. This is a useful tool for guitarists/singer/song-writers at any level — it’s super practical, easy to use, and includes a load of information.

You can buy (or print) a circle of 5ths/4ths anywhere, so what makes this stand apart? The cool functional wheel, and the way it works with the additional information found in the booklet. The wheel operates as expected, and is well made. I really like the stand! It's a creative way to reuse existing materials to increase value add. Overall I feel its a genuinely novel approach to the circle of 5ths that puts a literal tool in your musicality toolbox. Fantastic buy! It actually aided me in creating the foundation for a new song simply by pointing me a less common chord progression.

It is a really helpful item for playing by ear in identifying all of the chords in a key signature. It is pretty genius how it has been put together. Good quality and good value. Highly recommend.
