pump works great
bought this to use on sprinkler system that pulls from the pond.. existing system was 3 hp and was from 1977. The CFM numbers seem to be the same. writing this review after 3 months running every other day. pump running great.

Good product, but a little noisy.
Any pump made by Gorman-Rupp, or subsidiary (AMT) is a solid investment (pricy, but good). The only complaint is the noise level, which is a little higher than it "COULD BE". I've been in the noise control business for 43 years, engineered and sold product to G-R for municipal pumps. But, I'm going to build an acoustically lined open box 📦 which will solve the issue.

Sturdy pump
I bought this pump 2 years ago after researching other pumps that move a lot of water. It does that well but is noisy which doesn't bother me because is is not close to my house. The original motor burned out and I had to replace it. The motor runs hot. I recommend the pump for moving a lot of water and like it and it is cheaper than most pumps.

Roll the dice!
Bought one 5 or 6 years ago and it is still going strong. Bought a second one in July 2024 and the motor quit in about a month. Big time roll of the dice.
