Overall, a size down for me, everywhere but the waist was spot on, the waist was about an inch too tight. I was in between a large and extra large, ordered the large and now waiting for the extra large. I expect the waist to be perfect but we'll see about everything else since with the large it was all pretty good. I would say go with the size chart for the waist and the fit is relaxed but not overly so, a comfortable fit.
