I tried using a microfiber cloth but it left my headlights foggy after trying to buff it out. Paper towels cleared them right up. **Q: How many lenses will this do? Front and back?** A: Hard to say. Depends on the severity of the lenses and size. I found my bottle at dollar general. Works okay. I'd invest in an actual kit if your lights are severe. Doesn't last long either. **Q: Is this for the plastic headlights or the glass?** A: It's for plastic headlight lenses that are on cars. If you squeeze the bottle over time the the corners will crack and cause the contents to dry out. Unfortunately they don't have this at my local Walmart anymore so I got this one here. It cleans the lense much better for getting yellow out compared to other products and has enough grit to polish and shine unlike other products they sell. Use by hand or with a small polisher for best results and use the sealer. Buy the clear sealer with it. The bottle of sealer will last a long time.
