For the money, this was a decent little PC. I bought it for my husband 13 months ago. About 4-6 weeks ago, the HDMI ports started to fail. It has 3. At first, moving the cord from one to another helped. A few days ago, when the monitor signal blinked out, no amount of fiddling would restore it. We tried a new cord, and the monitor is less than a month old. In the end, I ended up claiming the warranty that I purchased with the PC. We're getting back the full purchase price as an Amazon credit (be sure to read the fine print when getting a warranty!) As it is, I feel we did get our money's worth. At a hundred and a half, the price at the time, a year is a decent run for a computer that's used daily and is literally always on. My husband used it to play Minecraft, watch television and people streaming on Twitch, and video call as well as surfing the web. It has plenty of USB ports, was super simple to set up and get running, and runs well for basic daily use. I don't think it'd run a heavier-graphics game or other software, but for basic, everyday use it was a great little computer.

Works pretty good for some Ham radio software and have been trying some coding with VS code with ssh to pi connection. Great selection of ports and the size of the machine with some Velcro can go a long way. I'm a Mac user so this thing is great for those win based software and apps running side tasks.

First off, I wasn't expecting much in the way of performance. I got this to use as a print server. It was about the same size and cost as a mini print server that required a bunch of configuration. This is a full Windows 11 PC; so I got this to hook the printer to (double sided taped to the side of my laser printer) and just set up simple printer sharing on my network using the WiFi. I connect to it using Google Remote Desktop and also use it as a small file storage location on the network for documents. It met my expectations for those two simple tasks, and I'm happy with it. HOWEVER, if you are looking for a GOOD daily driver PC, go elsewhere. This unit functions and it's cheap. Those are the only two good things I can say about it. This is actually even slower than I thought it would be. Like SMFH slow. I have seen some budget PC's I've built out of old spare parts that completely smoke this thing. I wouldn't surf the net with it, word process, or anything. If you need a small form fator for a project; If a linux distro will do the job, I would go with an RPi build before this. I just knew that Linux has issues with printer sharing to Windows if it will do it at all.

Honestly, for an entry-level and portable PC, the BMAX Mini PC does what it needs to do, but also lacks at the same time. it is unable to function with more than three tabs opened at the same time, that said, if you're trying to watch a YouTube video and take notes on a Google Document at the same time on a different tab, this PC definitely struggles. The speed is varying, but in most occasions, opens tabs and websites moderately quick. It has relatively no noise and was very easy to setup with the included cables, alongside several USB ports to connect other devices! All in all, this PC is not horrible, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to multitask if you're a student, need to get work done, or just looking to learn something new. On a side note, it does overheat at some points, but does an average job regulating its temperature.

This new processor does have some downfalls. Check your vpn to make sure that you can use it on the mini. My surfshark will not work with it. Funny because it works with everything else that I have used it with. As for the computer itself it is awesome especially given it's size. I use it for my CNC machine and it has all the power and functions that I need. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse that work fine with it. It hooked right into my network and also paired with my phone with no problems. If you are looking for a mini computer that takes up minimum space give it a try. The price is right.
