Fantastic kit! I wanted to buy some crafts to do while we’re social distancing during the pandemic, and my daughter picked this one out. I wasn’t expecting it to come with so much stuff! I figured it would have a little clay, some instructions, and leave the rest up to you, but no - this kit comes with 8 bags of air-dry clay (a large amount of white, pink, and two shades of brown, and a smaller amount of yellow, green, red, and purple), cardboard cake stand and bakery box, two containers of plastic sprinkles, six styrofoam cake forms, two pie forms, two sheets of shiny cardstock accessories, two plastic tools, a nail polish-sized bottle of ‘glaze’, some mini muffin cups, some half-pearls, and a giant, full-color instruction book. The instructions are really easy to follow, there are clear variations for each project, and it encourages kids to be creative by showing lots of options and suggestions. My ten-year-old loves it and has been able to make adorable little treats that look like the ones in the illustrations with minimal assistance. I expected it to be like a polymer clay, but the clay is really light and airy feeling. A couple of drawbacks: the clay is really sticky and wet at first, more like a slime than a clay. You have to work it for a few minutes before it’ll form into a ball instead of trying to coat your skin. Also, the clay bags are not resealable, so you have to provide ziplocks to keep the clay wet. Overall, though, I am incredibly happy. This has been a huge hit!

This is an great product. In the age of lots of crappy toys, this was fun, cute and well-made. Good guide book that instructs but still plenty of room to be creative. Included many colors and decorations, more than expected and my daughter and I loved it. She’s 6 so I had to bite my perfectionist tongue but still has a great time doing together. Only problem I had was one of The clays was dried out but I had taken it on a plane so maybe the pressure caused it. Bought two more as gifts.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter, and while the kit is very cute and the instructions are thorough and clear, every single package of clay (which is the main component of this kit) was completely dried out and therefore unusable, despite the fact that the packages were sealed. My daughter is disappointed of course, and Amazon expects us to drive 40 min to return this item to a Whole Foods just to get our refund. Product support has gotten noticeably worse on Amazon in the past year, but they’ve created such a monopoly that we all just have to suck it up. For anyone interested in buying this or a similar kit - try to find it at a local toy shop or something. Don’t waste your money and time on this site if you can avoid it.

The absolute cutest gift for kids. I initially thought this was a modeling type clay. It's actually this light almost foam feeling type clay. It's super light and nice to work with. Really stretchy but super soft. My daughter and I really enjoy making these cute little food shaped creatures. The clay dries pretty much overnight. The book is seriously awesome and so easy to follow. Really great descriptions on how to make the shapes. Another tool or 2 may have been handy but I just grabbed random kitchen stuff to use as tools. Definitely recommend.

Below review by my daughter. One week, my cousin had come over and, after a while, we eventually had nothing to do. So my mom bought us some crafts. This was my overall favorite craft! You can make cakes, cookies, pies, and even more. The sweets I made were a cookie, a cake pop, and a cake. I enjoyed making everything, but I have to say the sprinkles are very messy and fall of your sweet, which is annoying. The sprinkles fell right off my cake pop, and now it's not a cake pop. It was fun because there was no pressure, it was our creation, so however we made it was perfect. There are instructions if you want to try something step by step, but I find it more fun making my it my own. I recommend this for ages 6-11. Overall, this is a very fun and easy craft I enjoy! I definitely recommend it to you. Reminder: don't use the sprinkles! (

Great birthday present for our 2nd grader. We’ve given out a handful of these and everyone has loved them.

Leider ziemlich enttäuschend, größtenteils waren die Knetmassen im Vorfeld bereits ausgetrocknet und konnten nicht verarbeitet werden. Hier ist jede normale Knete die bessere Wahl!

Great product enough form clay to make many objects.

Excelente!!! De verdad que vale cada centavo. Lo compré para mi hija de 8 años, ya que está en la edad que quiere hacer manualidades y este producto fue lo mejor, la verdad cuando vi la foto me imaginé que era más grande, pero no es una pequeña cajita con un libro, viene en inglés pero está súper sencillo de entender, todo viene explicado con muchas fotos, lo que lo hace más fácil para los niños. Incluye todo lo necesario, lo único adicional que podrías ocupar es papel encerado, pero de ahí en fuera incluye bastantes decoraciones, la arcilla parece no ser suficiente pero al final te das cuenta que ocupas muy poquita para cada postre así que alcanza para hacer muchos. Mi hija se ha entretenido horas y horas haciendo diferentes figuras y lo mejor es que puedes dejar correr su imaginación. Otra cosa buena es que si se te acaba la arcilla puedes utilizar cualquier otra arcilla de mercería, no necesitas comprar repuestos. Para finalizar, lo recomiendo bastante para niños y niñas, ya que se entreteniéndome mucho utilizando su imaginación en lugar de ver tele o celular, si volvería a comprar 😊😊😊😊

Unfortunately all the clay was dried up. I bought this as a gift but my child couldn't play with it due to the clay issue. Very disappointing

Keeps kids busy for a couple of hours.
