It is based on weight however, and all the chocolate weigh slightly different amounts. **Q: Whats the expiration date** A: Expiration date is on the tin. I think it is about three months, but not sure. **Q: What is the expiration date?** A: When I recieved my tub (many months ago) the candy was not expired.
