It manages to be durable with transparent plastic without looking cheap and nasty. The pressure relief valve is a nice touch, and I appreciate the included carabiner for attaching to other packs. The hinge is really sturdy with a nice heavy resistance to it that inspires confidence - unlike other cases I've owned with creaked and flopped from day one. Similarly the seam around the case is strong and doesn't give when you try to flex it - it's very compact and low profile. I like the rubber mould insert which doubles as a large o-ring. It helps as a padding material and can even be taken out if you don't need it or want that little but extra space.
