I don't see it listed on Apple's AirPrint website but could be cuz it's new.** A: Yes! I tried it on my iPads and also on my Mac Air and it worked great! The MAC added it to its printers without having to load any software!!Hope that helps! **Q: does the scanner bed open? or does it just feed one sheet at a time?** A: The scanner bed does open to allow a document to be placed directly onto the scanner. Or you can use the automatic document feeder. I've had my XP-820 for about two weeks,so far so good. No complaints thus far. **Q: how good is the quality of the scanner? I have lots of old photos I want to scan into my Mac, and I want to at least preserve the quality of each.** A: It's a very good photo scanner and would be more than suitable for scanning family photos, which I assume is what you want to do. It is not as good as a dedicated photo scanner, but for most purposes it would be more than adequate. It's also surprisingly fast! **Q: Can it still print in black or scan when one of the color catridge is out of ink?** A: I just received my expression printer so I haven't set it up yet. The epson that I have been using would not print in black or when one of the ink cartridges was out.
