I recently added the Brother HL-L3220CW to my home office setup, and it’s delivered impressively across several key areas. The wireless connectivity was easy to set up—my laptop and phone both found the printer quickly over Wi-Fi, and printing from mobile devices has been smooth and reliable so far. Print quality in colour and black-and-white is good – sharp text, vibrant graphics and consistent results. For everyday use (reports, handouts, school projects, colour flyers) it handles the job without fuss. The LED print engine is quiet and fast enough that it doesn’t feel like a bottleneck when printing multiple pages. The single-function design is a plus in some ways (less bulky, fewer features I’ll never use). It’s compact enough to fit into my desk-side setup without crowding the space, and it feels solid and well-built with a UK plug ready to go. One thing to keep in mind: while colour prints are very good, if you compare to high-end photo printers you’ll notice it lacks some of the fine gloss/detail in photographic output. Similarly, as a single-function printer it doesn’t include scanning/copying features if you’d prefer an all-in-one. Overall, the Brother HL-L3220CW gives excellent value for a reliable, wireless colour printer. For general office, home, homework and creative print jobs it hits the right balance of performance, size and quality. Highly recommended for anyone needing a straightforward, dependable colour printer.

Great printer. Easy to use and set up.

Having read reviews galore, I decided to go for this model. Set up was very easy - to my laptop and phone, I also connected 'wired' connection to laptop as well. All printed well. Colour photos crisp and printing was as quick as my mono laser printer. Black is a very deep grey. Colours were fairly accurate. Am looking around at cost of replacement toners which hopefully I won't need for a while. So far so good! Only complaint is its a heavy printer. But on a plus side its compact so not in way when not being used and fits nicely under my printer shelf

Good product has done all that I need it to. I am an infrequent user of a printer, a reason why I no longer use ink jet printers. This laser printer has proved to be reliable so far.

Plus: Print quality is good. Has a manual feeder so you can feed one sheet of (eg) headed paper in without disturbing the paper in the main tray. Minus: Has a really annoying habit of printing a status page before it actually prints a job. This is especially annoying if you have headed or photo paper in. Manual feeder tends to cause paper jams. LCD screen makes very little sense. Power saving mode is far less effective than my ten year old printer it replaced.

I did a lot of research into printers before selecting this Brother one and was not disappointed. It was really easy to set up and being wireless allows quick connection and control from many devices within the house. It is very simple to print from mobile phones and laptops alike. We dont usually print a lot, and our old inkjet printer just kept on drying out. This is now not an issue which is great. We are still running on the initial toners that came with the printer. Really pleased overall

On Brother's official website all printers got 3 years warranty, but here only 1 year. wifi connectivity got errors at times. a blue line printed across the paper whenever I do colour print. review overrated.

Great compact printer with both an A4 paper tray and seperate letter tray. It is a little slow but I will take that as I don't need prints instantly. Good colour quality aswell. If you are buying this, make sure you register the product and enlist in the Ecoflow cartridge replacement scheme. It is 6 months for free at the time of writing and I just got 4 brand new 4500 print cartridges for free.
