Please can you tell me if this reducing coupler will fit 50mm o/d down to 42mm o/d

Will this be suitable for use with diesel?

Can’t see why this would not be suitable with diesel. I don’t think the material would dissolve or deteriorate in diesel. My application was for a fish pond to connect pipes carrying sludge. It’s been working two years without trouble.

i ghave a 38mm pipe will this 40mm get good closure if add some sealant and screw tight ?

Thanks for your enquiry. The 40mm fitting is suitable for use with 38mm (1½” NB Imperial) pipe. You should not require any sealant with this if the clips are screwed tight.
