So, to answer the main questions: - did it stop the diarrhoea ... YES, eventually Something to note is the inclusion of sucrose, which could be a problem for diabetics. It took the Loperamide Hydrochloride about an hour to start slowing the diarrhoea I'll be honest I believe that the pharmacist had mistaken this version of Diocalm for the Diocalm Dual Action which has the pain killer Morphine Hydrochloride in it. As an anti-diarrhoea drug it isn't bad, but this version has no pain killing effect.
