This product description clearly says "Double Sided" But that really means Two flood lights, not the word "EXIT" showing on both side of the unit.

Emergency Light Panels updated for ease ability
These lights wire direct with their own internal batteries and do not require batteries that always seem to run down when a fire marshal makes his inspection. We installed them ourselves in every building we rent/own and are very pleased. Time will tell, but so far things wouldn't be better............
