Fits older magnifier Ottlite
This fit my older Ottlite. It's a floor lamp with a magnifier attached to the stand pole. I don't know the model number, but I would guess is at least 20 years old. Inherited this workhorse from my Mom several years ago. Hope the info helps someone else find the correct bulb.

Fits and works in older Ott Light fixtures
There are two generations of fluorescent light tubes: magnetic ballast, and the newer, electronic ballast. OTTLite lamps originally used the magnetic ballast version, and later, updated to electronic ballast lamps. They are not interchangeable, and they have different-shaped white plastic plugs, to prevent inserting the wrong type in the fixture. These tubes work fine in the magnetic ballast lamps. The color temperature is a bit too cool, but otherwise, they're great, at a lower price than the original brand.

Good replacement, but mind the base!
This bulb set went in perfectly, but be sure to be careful of which bulb base you order—they changed the base several years ago (maybe 2007?) so be sure to look carefully at the base of the one you remove from your lamp to make sure the new one you order matches. They still sell both the old and the new…

Perfect!!
And He said…let there be light! I was so excited when the two bulbs I ordered arrived. I now have two working OTT lights in my craft room. The one lamp has been non functioning for probably 5 years. My third OTT light is supposed to have a fold up and take it with you to conventions. Even from day one, it never held a charge. I will have to see if there is a chance to fix it without waiting five years.

Works in my OTT LITE!
The bulbs that fit in this particular light fixture usually cost 50 dollars each..so I was really happy to find these and they work perfectly!
