I can get the drone airborne in a fraction of the time compared to using controllers that rely on my phone. Plus, I’m no longer dealing with mid-flight interruptions from notifications.If you’re familiar with other DJI remotes, the transition to this one is seamless.There’s a ton of customization available, but once you set it up to your preferences, you’ll mostly only need to adjust operational safety and camera settings both of which are easy to navigate through the screen.Battery life is solid, and the screen is noticeably brighter than my phone’s, though I would still recommend using a sunshade in direct sunlight.Overall, I think the price is fair considering the quality and functionality.
