This worked great to help us extend our Ethernet cable from our new Cox modem so we could add a longer Ethernet cable to move our router to the top of the stairs more central to our house. It worked now our TV gets a stronger wifi signal strength!

Instead of having to run a new cable I used this extender to make it long enough to get to my router. It was very simple to use and a way cheaper option the. Running new cable. It was also nice that I did not have any decrease in internet speed from having to use it.

This item is exactly what I needed to extend my cord. I needed a hardwire for my internet connection, and had to move the placement of the modem. I bought another cord that was enough to reach the new location when connected with this extender. The quality of my internet service is just as good as it was without the extender. It saved me money and time because I did not have to replace the cord that was already in place with a longer cord to reach the new location of my modem. I definitely recommend this item to add more length in connecting your modem
