**Q: Does the cord come out of the pull so you can install it around the zipper?  Or do you just have to loop it around itself?**
A: The cord does not come out, can only be looped.  we found cord was to stretchy for our zipper cooler, which is a hard zipper, but otherwise would work great for regular items.  not recommended to replace a zipper on a cooler.
