IL COMPROMESSO PERFETTO Passare alla Sony a7C II è stata la svolta per il mio flusso di lavoro, provenivo da una Sony a6000, quindi una aps-c entry level (altro mondo in termini di qualità costruttiva e foto/video). Cercavo una macchina che non mi facesse pesare lo zaino durante i viaggi o le sessioni di scatto all'aperto, ma che non mi costringesse a rinunciare alla qualità del sensore full-frame. Con il sensore da 33MP (lo stesso della A7 IV), questa macchina è un mostro di dettaglio sia in foto che in video. L'ho acquistata 1 anno fa con "Amazon Usato Come Nuovo" pagandola 1935 € e devo dire che è l'investimento della vita! Creo principalmente contenuti sui social media utilizzandola sia per foto che video. L'ho addirittura portata nel mio viaggio in India per volontariato e devo dire che non mi ha deluso, anzi per quello per cui ero abituato faceva pure troppo! AUTOFOCUS E INTELLIGENZA ARTIFICIALE Il vero "game changer" è il chip dedicato all'intelligenza artificiale. Il riconoscimento del soggetto (esseri umani, animali, persino treni o aerei) è di una precisione chirurgica. Per chi come me registra spesso da solo, l'autofocus sull'occhio è una garanzia: non ho mai un video fuori fuoco, anche se mi muovo velocemente nell'inquadratura. Ho un'accoppiata di obiettivi di terze parti quali: Tamron 28-75 mm F2.8 e una Viltrox 14mm F4. CAPACITÀ VIDEO (10-bit 4:2:2) Per chi fa editing video serio, la possibilità di girare in 4K a 10-bit internamente è fondamentale. Il color grading in S-Log3 diventa un piacere: i colori sono ricchi e la gamma dinamica permette di recuperare dettagli nelle ombre e nelle luci che prima sognavo. La stabilizzazione interna (IBIS) è stata migliorata sensibilmente rispetto alla prima versione, rendendo i vlog a mano libera molto più fluidi. COSTRUZIONE ED ERGONOMIA Il corpo è compatto ma solido. La nuova ghiera frontale (che mancava nel modello precedente) cambia totalmente l'esperienza d'uso, permettendo un controllo manuale rapido di tempi e diaframmi. Lo schermo articolato è luminoso e perfetto per i selfie-video. PRO: - Sensore da 33MP eccezionale per risoluzione e rumore contenuto. - Autofocus con AI semplicemente imbattibile. - Form factor compatto: perfetta per i gimbal o per il travel vlogging. - Menu Sony finalmente intuitivo e touch (rispetto alla mia vecchia sony a6000). CONTRO: - Come tutte le macchine compatte, tende a scaldare leggermente in sessioni di 4K 60fps molto lunghe (oltre i 40-50 min). - Manca il doppio slot SD (sacrificio necessario per le dimensioni). - Il viewfinder di piccole dimensioni non aiuta ma al contempo il display luminoso controbilancia questa mancanza CONCLUSIONI La Sony a7C II non è solo una macchina fotografica, è uno strumento di produzione completo. Costa, è vero, ma la qualità costruttiva e tecnologica giustifica ogni euro speso. Se siete creator o fotografi che viaggiano molto, non c'è scelta migliore sul mercato oggi!
