I recently pursued my lifelong interest in drumming in my early 20s. I watched countless videos on the best drumset to buy, and I saw nothing but good reviews about this kit — in both quality and price. I purchased the set two months ago, and it's been AMAZING! It's really silent (I can play while my girlfriend is sleeping) and compact. Highly recommend for new drummers.

Good unit

Bought this as a low cost entry into drumming. You do get what you pay for with this. Cheap plastic frame that does not allow much height for adults, especially if you are 6 foot are taller. I had to reconfigure the frame just to get the snare pad at a reasonable height since I was constantly hitting my knees when the snare was placed according to the diagrams. Module is very cheap and difficult to understand sometimes. On the plus side, I have used it daily for a month and it works well. All of the pads respond adequately. You will need to adjust sensitivity, cross-talk, and other settings for each pad to get it where you want, but this is relatively simple once you find the online manual. WARNING: Do NOT buy headphones and stool upgrade. The headphones are so cheap and thin that the earpiece presses against your ear painfully and the stool has such thin and cheap padding that after about 20 minutes your butt will hurt. Again, you get what you pay for. It is inexpensive and good to try out drumming without too much cost. But you will soon what to upgrade to something better.

Bought this for my partner who drummed for years in his childhood and early adulthood and he absolutely loves it.
