very easy to secure under shelf i used the little screws supplied as well as the double sided tape, quite tidy and keeps the kitchen roll from cluttering up the kitchen and now we know exactly where it is when needed. fits well without taking any more space under shelf then needed double sided tape that was proved is handy to stick in place while you drill pilot holes and then screw up

Really stuck well

Every single one of these I've both for under cupboard mounting has failed where the arm is fixed to the fixing bracket. It's either a worthless weld, a bolt made of chocolate or a bend in the structure which gives up the ghost. This one is better - 3 (albeit small) recessed head bolts into the arm would seem to be a decent solution and should hold a roll of towel easily, but the issue that these items have is the leverage imposed on the arm when the roll is dragged out. The arm is naturally pulled down and twisted so the pressure on the joint is considerable and the twisting action on this one will pull the bolts and loosen the thread (as others have experienced). My solution was to put a couple of dabs of 2 part epoxy on the arm where it meets the mounting bracket between the bolt holes which has firmed up the structure. If the bolts do work loose (which I doubt) then I'll put a drop on the bolt threads as well. Oh, and anyone who expects an adhesive strip to hold this is place is probably going to be disappointed - just use a couple of screws and do the job properly. I've dropped 2 stars because of the need to use the epoxy and another one because the screws are too long for normal kitchen cabinet bases.
