The timers are used to switch your gas boiler either directly or via motorised zone valves and when used together with room thermostats can provide full heating and comfort control. The FP720 includes a large, easy to read backlit display with straightforward intuitive layout. Current day, time and on/off period is shown in the large top section along with icons showing status of the output channels. Easy channel override by pressing and holding the relevant labelled button for 3 seconds. At the bottom of the display the channel setting is shown where the user can select for Auto, +1hr Boost or Constant On or Off control. This is shown for both channels on FP720. FP720 can be setup to control heating and domestic hot water channels with separate schedules or 2 heating zones. Again, the display differentiates between these setups and indicates the channel type on the display. This is a direct replacement for the Danfoss programmer FP715SI. Simply disconnect power to the unit, loosen the 2 securing screws and remove the FP715SI from the backplate. The FP720 Danfoss programmer will then push in place. Tighten the screws for the backplate and reconnect power. Quite different to the old unit but after careful reading of the instructions was up and running.All so far working well and can certainly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product. *by S***W on 16 January 2026* Excellent product and easy to fit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement but inferior programmer. *by C***T on 6 November 2025* As this is a direct replacement for the FP715 SI and plugs direct on to the original backplate it was a no brainer (both my my 2 controllers blew to common fault, both lights on and blank screen on the same day after a power outage!) However this is not as user friendly as the old controller - for example if the heating is on for an auto period and you wish to turn it off (say it was a mild day) you have to change the setting from Auto to Off and then remember to change it back after the auto heating period is past!
