This Litebox kit was inexpensive enough for me to take a chance on it (I've never bought softboxes before) without being so cheap that I couldn't trust it. I'm currently using this kit for product photography but I wanted to get something that would work for other projects and offer me some flexibility. I also wanted to be able to pack the whole thing up and get it out of the way when I'm not using it. I wouldn't want to set up and take down the whole thing every day, because I am lazy, but I can do it in 5 minutes or less when needed.I watched an excellent video review from another buyer here that I would recommend other potential buyers watch to get a full overview of the kit.I did have some issues with a faulty lightbulb that burned out after a couple of weeks light use (so to speak). Litebox replied to my message through amazon right away and sent me a replacement in the mail without hesitation. When the replacement also turned out to be a dud I was sent another one, again, without hesitation. I just got a camera and am learning how to use them. They are very durable and are easy to set up. I do have a problem keeping the umbrella from drooping sometimes from the heaft of the bulb. I dont really understand how the covers fit over the lights, as mine are kinda saggy, like I cant get the light opened all the way. You really have to press it open to get it fully opened.
