Will this work with a Apollo Nice gate opener?

This remote is compatible with gate controllers that have a learning function. You have to open the control box where the circuit board is, and it should have a button marked learn, you press it till the corresponding learn LED lights, then press the button on the remote that you want it to receive the code. The gate will open when finished.

Does this remote come with batteries.?

Yes, The remote comes with the battery pre-installed. The battery type is 27A 12v Alkaline. It lasts a few years under normal use.
