Classic 44 Set of Small, Medium and Large Containers

These are a staple product in my home. I have reordered several times. Same lid fits every size. Durable, I use them to organize items in addition to food. They wash well in dishwasher, top shelf. Great vale for the cost.

Normally I don't get long-winded on these things but let me tell you a story. I have been inheriting containers from various roommates for something like 15 years now. I've lived in two households with 6 different people and when they moved out for some reason they left their containers with me. That means I had this huge collection of containers from Ikea, Rubbermaid, Tupperware etc made from various grades of plastic, with different 'stackable' and non-stackable lids. I must have had 50 of the dang things. Also, I admit I have a tendency to forget that I put food in them and come across them with... gross contents. Now I'm on my own and I looked at this huge collection of containers, some clean and some disgusting and said "Screw this. These things are awful." I got rid of them and bought this pack. I could not be happier. Now instead of struggling to find space for a huge collection of mismashed containers with lids that don't even seal, I have one small double-stack of containers that I can wash or discard if i forget to do so. The lids are universal, stack neatly and fit nice and tight. I've used them in the microwave and I've put hot foods in them and they stood up well. I don't have a dishwasher anymore, but I'm confident they really would be safe on the top shelf of one. So if you're like me and want to reclaim storage space, hate cleaning out moldy food because you're forgetful, and want something solid, easy and reliable: get this variety pack. You won't regret it.

Great for storage and when giving away food

I reorder this three times a year. I love these containers, they work perfect for what I need. I really enjoy the three different sizes. They are great for leftovers or portioning premade foods for the week. The only issue is the lids are easy to break. I re-use these until I can't any more, and then just replace them. I don't recommend putting them in the microwave for very long, the plastic starts to melt after a minute. Don't put liquids in them and turn them upside down, it will leak. Not always, but most of the time. I think that's because the way they stack the lids for shipping, it stretches them out a bit. They don't always fit perfect. Great for taking leftover to work, which what I use them for mostly. Hard to freeze things in them because of expansion of liquids. Make sure you store containers with liquid up right at all times.

When I bought these 2 yrs ago my husband said they were disposable and a waste of $. He also argued they weren't microwavable. Now I can never find one when needed because they're always in the fridge or sink or at our kids' homes with leftovers or at his desk holding flash drives or small computer components. They can get cloudy in the corners after a while and 2 have cracked from misuse. They microwave just fine but don't insulate hot food so you need to be careful when removing them. I don't microwave the lid. These aren't meant to be high end food storage; I have other containers for that. But they're great for daily use and I love that the lids are all the same size. The only thing my hubby complains about now is cleaning inside the edge of the lids but there are small disposable sponge-tipped swabs that work perfectly for that (link below). The containers are great. The lids are a little too flexible for my taste, I end up peeling them off rather than popping them up. But they fit and are air tight.

These containers are awesome. Like many people I had a giant pile of plasticware, all different sizes and shapes that I almost never used because I could never find the correct lids. I resorted to just covering containers with plastic wrap or using zip lock bags. Well let me tell you these containers are perfect for what I needed. I tossed out 3/4s of my plasticware which filled up a large trash bag. These take up so much less space and the same cover works on all the containers. They dont leak, they stack nicely, you can put them in the microwave, freezer and diahwasher. I even started using these to serve food, like when I make fijitas or tacos. All the fillings are served in these and I just pop lids on the left overs. Update: These containers are still going strong after almost a year of constant use. I only had one cover warp a bit in the microwave and another container broke after it fell out of the freezer.

These things are awesome for just about anything. Any leftover foods, sauces, etc. Hot, super hot, cold, no problem. They're so durable we usually end up losing them or giving them away with food in them before any signs of wear and tear. They can handle the freezer and the microwave. Sometimes when the dishwasher is close to full, we'll bend a few pieces to get a few more in there, and with high heat, they can come out a little warped, but once you put a lid on they still form a tight seal. For freezing stuff, I highly suggest you take a little piece of plastic food wrap and cover the top of your food item with it so that it has contact with the food wrap and not the stale freezer air which would cause freezer burn. You should do this with anything that isn't vacuum sealed. Only word of caution (as with any plastic material), dropping one when you pull it out of the freezer will cause it to break. So if you drop one, examine it carefully to make sure you don't eat those pieces. This is not really a defect, just a natural property of the plastic it's made out of. I do recommend washing them before you use them. I've re-ordered this item several times and once I run out I will re-order it again!

These containers are a LIFE SAVER. Easy to wash many times,great for storrage. Love them

I snapped these up on sale, so only paid $16 (AU) and they are a steal at that price. The plastic is thicker than your regular takeaway container and the ones you can get from Woolies or Coles, and the lids are a softer plastic so they actually bend and you can remove them without fear of them snapping! They have strong seal and although I haven't tested it yet they are meant to be both microwave and dishwasher proof. Mine arrived in perfect shape, but I did drop the package taking it out of the box (because I wasn't expecting them to be as heavy as they were = quality) and managed to crack one container, still, considering they were all in one shrink wrapped pack I was very pleased to see it was just one container that cracked and not a bunch. I'm not sure I'd pay the $45+ these are when not on sale, but definitely worth putting in the 'save for later' and waiting for a sale. UPDATE: It's been a few months of using these and they hold up well. I've had no warping or melting in the dishwasher or microwave, and no staining. They freeze well, but are a little brittle when frozen so careful not to knock them on the bench as they will crack.

I love the fact that you and put them into a dishwasher, microwave and freezer. Also completely airtight. You can store chopped onions in the fridge without a single scent.

These didn’t get the “it looks nice” approval from my wife, but after using them for a few weeks, she confessed she prefers these over all our other options. It’s nice that these are safe to use in the dishwasher and there is enough of each version that we are never missing out. They stack real nice and don’t take lots of space when not in use. They dó tend to break and bend after a while, so be prepared to buy a new set every two years
