Great! Wash it thoroughly it does have a strong scent.

Works great to heat and reheat food fast, easy to use and non Toxic. Seems sturdy, ive used it several times now. You'll need paper to line inside so food doesnt stick and stays cleaner. I use unwaxed parchment paper to line. Basket is small and doesnt fit much of course. I bought it because the larger baskets didnt fit in my pots.Then I found i could use a large one that has a stainless steel ring that sits under the basket on top of your pot. So ill keep both

Love this product just as described I use them daily

Has 2 trays for steaming and it holds about 4-5 soup dumplings per tray. Steams just fine and fits in my wok. Does put off a slightly odd smell when steaming (not bad or anything, mostly wood smelling). Mine also had a strip of wood splinter off after my second use. And the trays and lid fit awkwardly in a way that they have to be layered specifically. Overall not bad if you need something quick but if recommend going somewhere for something more authentic.

Much superior to metal steamers.

Cheap, warped after first use. Strands and chunks of bamboo hanging loose from it. You'd be better of finding a local asian market and purchasing a better one for cheaper.

Solid design, holding up well to steaming. No bad odor other than that nice bamboo smell. They are small so not great for mass steaming, but nice for serving, check the dimensions before hand.

I have a 3-qt instant pot and this steamer basket fits inside with some adjustments: flipping the trivet upside down to lower the basket, and removing the lid (covering the top basket with a foil circle; or perfect fit with a single layer. Used to steam dim sum dumplings - worked very well! Instead of fancy inserts to keep it clean, I just cut squares of parchment paper and poked holes to let steam through.

These are authentic bamboo steamers, I've seen some that are made of wood. These are great to steam frozen dim sum. You can stack the containers with the lid which keeps the steam inside, in a pot with boiling water. Would highly recommend these.
