Makes gel, coat, dry and not sticky
This wax additive helped the Boat shine a bit more made the gel coat dry without a tacky filling. I recommend this product to be added to all gel coats. Whether they come with wax or not.

Worked Perfect.
Good product for working with fiberglass. It works well when blended together with polyester resin or gel coat to cure it to a non sticky texture. I used it when I refinished the fuel tank area in my Champion DCX 221 Elite bass boat.

Necessary when using Gel Coat WITHOUT a wax additive in it.
Worked great! Good value, ensures your final coat is durable. Used for the final coat of white gel coat to ensure a clean, properly cured, non-tacky finish on a sailboat. If you plan to use an anti-slip silica, make sure to mix it in with the wax additive before adding MEK-P (the catalyst that hardens the gel coat).Follow manufacturers directions - the ratios provided are integral to the success of your gel coat project.

Make sure you’re adding the right amount for your project. Keep stirring for to keep wax in the mix.

Product itself works great. Packaging could be better.
Works as intended for adding wax to gel coat. Bottle is kind of awkward to pour a small amount without making a mess. Maybe a dropper cap or syringe would be helpful

Improved Packaging
Yes, off gassing made me nervous but in the three years since the below review, they have significantly improved their packaging - sealed bag and even the can has a metal seal under the screw top that you have to cut open —>. “ If you can't seal dangerous liquids, don't try and sell them. This has never been opened, not even the plastic. I can tell that there's about half of a jar remaining by feel. And you better believe it stinks up anywhere it lives for a 25 ft radius.
