I’m genuinely impressed with the Melon Audio MA87. Although the microphone arrived three days later than expected, that was due to Amazon and UPS—not Melon Audio. The packaging was excellent and kept everything well protected. The build quality feels premium, and the sound exceeded my expectations. It has a warm, rich midrange, while the high frequencies are smooth and detailed without sounding harsh. For its price, the MA87 delivers performance that rivals microphones costing many times more. While it’s inspired by the classic U87, it has its own character and offers incredible value. Compared to my Rode NT1, I personally prefer the MA87’s warmth and tone, and it has become my new go-to microphone. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for professional sound at an outstanding price.

This was a gift for my 13 year-old grandson who is into making and streaming music. He says this microphone is excellent for what he’s doing. He was very happy with his gift. He actually wrapped a song that I thought was excellent. You could hear it on SoundCloud. his name is lucid.

I initially bought a very inexpensive mic online from TikTok to do my podcast. And then found out the quality that was presented was subpar. I've been using this mic for a little bit now and it has surpassed my expectations of a mic.

I own several condenser mics and this one has the best sound overall, even when compared to a mic costing twice as much. I have seen comparisons on line with mics costing 4 times a much, and I believe they are accurate. This is an exceptionally fine mic at the price, and at any price. This would be a 5 star review, except that the shock mount that came with it is shockingly cheap looking and feeling. Brittle plastic. It does work, but I would not want to say for how long. And the mic itself had a flaw in the finish. Not bad enough to return it considering the sound…but still there. Overall I am very satisfied and even somewhat impressed.

Retains body well. The full metal body feels very high quality for a low budget mic, such as this one, the mic mount also feels very sturdy and I've had a great experience with the windscreen that it comes with. I would really recommend To buy this product too anyone who has a budget set up and is looking for quality.

Buena construcción, me sorprendió mucho por el costo. Lo comparé con un AKG P220 el sonido es muy similar, solo melón audio cuenta te da más ganancia, pero al hacer match en el gain las diferencias son mínimas. Sin duda compraré los demás microfonos que tiene Melon Audio, para testearlos y usarlos en mis proyectos.

It was so good. I bought two for the price you just can’t beat it. Feels completely on par with my road empty ones may be even better.

I'm blown away with the amazing quality of this microphone. From the packaging and accessories to the incredible sound it captures. I had already set up the Maono boom arm and attaching the mic was a breeze. Using it in conjunction with the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and Garageband on Mac is simple and very effective. I've used a dynamic Shure mic at approximately double the price and USB mics but this condenser mic outshines them all. For anyone thinking about setting up a home studio at a budget price, you won't get any better than this superb microphone. Highly recommended.

I currently have a Rode NT1A and this Mic I actually like a bit better than my NT1. I have also used some cheaper condenser mics off of Temu and this mic actually has some decent looking circuit boards inside. Wish I found this mic sooner then I would have stayed away from the Temu junk as this mic is top quality and is a really great price !! Might even be getting one of there MA67, when they become available again because I was so impressed with this one !!
